The new scripts were opened today with some disappointments for the developers and players.
The anti-money cheat was being set tight, and some unknown money transaction caused a lot of kicks. This has now mostly been corrected, the money kick will only happen after selling a business that was bought on credit. That will be fixed tomorrow.
Another thing that has caused us some headaches is the timeouts. One of the reasons we foudn for timeout is if a player has been AFK for some time and returns. There for we must ask all players not to go AFK, not by ATL-TAB and not by first pressing esc.
There are some minor other bugs, but they will be fixed in the next days.
Please give us some time to straighten out the last things, and you will be able to enjoy the new scripts.

Thats cool Gandalf. I think you did a great job - of course there will be a few bugs the first time server is full.
But all in all - awesome..

Player Dragonfire keeps getting teleported to me even if we BOTH relog I jailed him and hes back i killed him ...back I relog and hes back . we both Relog and ... you guessed it back he comes he is not doing anything neither am i , if he does /relax he is dragged behind me , I know this is not the report section but this one i do want to share ...

Scripts are quite amazing now, I only get the odd crash (lag). Most of the commands are now in good working order. Awesome job Developers your hard work is very much appreciated within the Argonath community.

i love the new commands, great work and all.. theres only one thing i dont like... i hate the god dam crashes :S other then that they are great :D

I don't think /id command is added.. Since you can see IDs in chat.. Mostly.
I'd like to see ID's on city chats aswell (default, "T" button chat) since most new players who don't know the rules yet talk on it and sometimes they need to be bananaed for constant non-english or flaming. :trust:

Yeah well, I still think it's nice to have /ID and another thing that SA-MP removed is the 'tab' option. In 0.2.1 you were able to type the first to letters of the name and press TAB and the full name displayed. (for example: [WS]Hyper is ingame and I type: [W, and I press tab, it shows the name) Now that not possible anymore (thats got nothing to do with the scripts although it maybe is possible to make a script for that ^^). And I hope theres a solution for the instability of the scripts. Today I get disconnected like every 90 seconds...
If I crash after playing 2 hours or so, I understand, but its pretty anoying to relogin every time. But I'm sure you will find a way to solve it :)

I am happy to announce that we have solved most of the timeouts.
SA:MP in its current state does not give guarantee to play without crashes. The reason is simple. The SA:MP team has worked very hard to make features possible, but they have used it only with limited game modes. As a result, when we try to use the maximum features we get bugs that were not discovered, simply because they were never tried in a mass RPG script.
We have had to take down a number of things in our search for stability, and have reached it. In the coming days we will try to bring back some of the features that were disabled, one by one to be sure that if there is again some instability we will know from where it comes and can decide to make a workaround.
Right now the mass crashes have stopped, and we do not expect them back unless because of us bringing back a bugged feature.
If that happens, we will know it and create a workaround as we are used to find new ways to do what we want.
We hope that a number of bugs (which are known bugs to the SA:MP developers) will be solved in the future so we can use them once again.

I dont care if we miss some features, Argonath will always be the best.
And I'm very thankfull for ALL the work you guys have been doing to just make us happy, you all did it for us and I think thats just great. Thank you

Yeah Thanx to the devs for their hours and hours of work .. Sometimes gandalf was already on in the morning and in the evening when I went to bed ... must have been some long hours...And that without pay :bis: :gand: :bis:

For keeping server stable we have to remove the car system we created in a new scripts, as the cars deleting and creating are causing a times outs on SAMP 0.2.2... We tried as possible to keep OUR car system, but here we can do nothing... It is over our scripts...
We apologize to all players and will try to bring on server the old system as soon as it is possible... Thou you should understand it is not a 10 minutes change....

Oh, that's sad. I loved the new car system but if there is not another way to keep it i prefer a stable server.

Thats why my bike was gone, I bought a new one this afternoon, I hope its not gone cause I really spent time in making money for that one

The /sellcar command still works for now, so anyone has a chance to sell their cars and get back the money. If we bring on the new car system we will check who has not sold their car yet.
As multiple spawning in one place also causes crash (we saw at the party today some 'towers of people') there will be an adjustment there.
Right now we have checked that apart from having 50 people in one place, which has been causing crashes since 0.1, the mass timeouts of 15-20 people have been reduced.
The stable point is now known, and we will work form here to add as much as we can without losing stability and improving where we can.
