Title: Network ports

Guys i need help on how to open port 7777?
ya all know my problem so i checked here, http://www.whatsmyip.org/ and saw that my port 7777 is closed, i belive this is the reason i cant connect to argo on addresss 89.149.196.238:7777

Im using windows xp service pack 1 with no routher (just an usb adsl moddem)  avast antivirus and a spyware doctor.
If anybody knows how to manually open port plz HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't that a default gateway address for a router? And he doesn't have a router.

I'm thinking if you don't have a router then shouldn't all ports automatically be open?
cDa try opening the port in all firewalls you have (you should only have one)

I think its about the TCP/Ip i got that problem once but my bro fixed? Can that be the option?

Guys, your port doesnt have to be open to play.
It only needs to be open if you start your own renegade server.
Cda try using another game on that port and see if it works.
If not consult back here with screenies of whats actualy happening.

hm, i tried ut2004(in manuall it says port for online games *login port) is 7777, no access,
As for sa-mp:
i did check here:www.whatsmyip.org, look at results, should i reinstall service pack 2? maybe some parts of firewall were left behind...

and no im not behind a routhere, just has an usb adsl modem

Have you tried looking for the server in the server master list? Because I had the retriving info thing and I looked up the Argo server on the master list and it worked for me, worth a try i guess.

OK added SP2, enabed ports in exception list, look:

still nothing, im gonna pm Gandalf, maybe my ip is blocked? i do use dinamic ip...
