Yesterday we reached the point where the server was mostly stable, single crashes did happen, but no mass ones.
From this point on we are bringing back our features one by one, and checking them for issues of stability.
The first test was the custom cars system. Unfortunately this has directly resulted in a return of timeouts.
This means that we will have to use vehicles which are on server constantly, and not as we planned that players own car will be on the server only when te owner is present.
We are sad about this, as this is the second time we had to bring down the possibilities of the car system. However we understand even more than our players that it is impossible to have fun while crashing all the time. In any new release of fix of the SA:MP server we will continue to see if we can use the system we planned.
We understand that the intention of the SA:MP team is to bring a lot of features from the single player in to the multiplayer, and that there can be bugs. Still we hope that in future releases functions will be tested for mass-use to avoid crashing.
Do not forget that an RPG script takes the server to its limits, more than any DM will do.
Right now we ask our players to sell their cars (selling is still possible) and in the coming days we will bring out a new car system with ownership.

1. Does that mean our business's will be reset if there's a new version of Argonath coming out...
2. I liked the old car ownership system, so i dont really mind which one we use :D

To be honest. I like it as long as there are other good cars spotted around the streets i.e BUFFALOS!!!!!! and various other silly cars like infernus.

1. No. Accounts will not be reset as long as we keep the current database system.
2. The new system was more flexible as it allowed each player to have individual cars. But well..we just can not keep the crashes.

Removing this didn't really help crashes I still crash every 5-10 minutes....

Yes, but it took a lot of crashes off. Also, multiple timeouts are mostly gone now.
Some more scripts that are causing timeouts will be removed soon I think.
Too bad, they were cool. :(

Will the drug system be back? I doubt it was crashing anyone.. yes I do still crash, but I never know when I will. Some times I can go 1 hour without a crash and others I crash every 10 minutes or less. Maybe you have the old car system back, and when we buy a car we /delivercar and it spawns there like it would at other place. Maybe you make so when a car respawns it spawns with 100 fuel, that would be nice.

Car spawnings are crashing, it is already documented on SAMP.
The drugs and weed will be back, and other features will be tested. Right now we make some adjustments, check out 1 or 2 days what is the effect and then make the next.
Sometimes changed are noticed, other times they are too small to notice for players. ;)

I think if we use /cardeliver the car should spawn at that location when we log in...
Where did we pay for otherwise? :trust:

My car spawn worked absolutely fine in till the server reset ? or crash this evening about an hour or so ago. Now I can't find my car.

The car spawns at the default location after server is reset. If the car is blown (or sunk) then it will arrive to the spawn you set.
Ot find back your car you need 3 things.
1. The original spawn
2. Where you set the deliver
3. The ID (shows when you enter) for others to help searching.
Remember that cars do not disappear from server, anyone can take and drive it.

It's not fun that people hide my bike and then I have to go all over SA to find it. :(

Or maybe a command that you can use every 15 minutes or something...
So you type /respawncar and then it will respawn. (15 minutes pause cause it will be abused otherwise)

Might revive the /heydude command :D Problem is that yellow marker does not switch off until the car respawns.

What Rights do you have in your owned vehicle ? , if someone takes it can you ask them to get out (or call the cops ?) I think it should be possible because there can be a maximum of 100 players online leaving 500 or 600 other cars , and this is if all own a car so there are enough left for who doesnt own one
Also i would like to see the car respawn when people log in .(or is that suppposed to happen now already ? ) because if i relog it stays in the same spot but it does turn in the same direction as i spawned it .
