Title: At school and the network has a filter...
Post by: Trojan_Fabrizio on November 20, 2007, 12:57:01 pm
OK, so I'm at school, I can access websites like Argonath RPG but most of the websites are filtered such as games and cool stuff because teachers just want you to work. I was wondering if there was any way round this like a website that can access websites... I'm a noob so give me some help and support. :D

Hi Trojan,

First of all, try adding a period at the end of the website, for example http://www.argonathrpg.com.[/url].

Second of all, try using some of these sites, they should help but it'll be a bit slower:

http://www.hidearea.com
http://www.gethidden.net
http://www.getbypass.net
http://www.devisible.net
http://www.bebohide.com

me and my mates found a flaw in our schools network system..

we would log on then disconnect the network cable... wait for an error message to show then click ok.. it would log us on the the computer with full admin rights... then we would plug the network cable back in and there we had can access all websites, plus change our grades and attendance :)  lol

Just try if you can access the website with its IP that usually goes around lot of blocks

To get the ip from the website do the following

If you want the ip from www.argonathrpg.com just do the following
Click on start click on run type cmd type
ping <address> in this case
ping www.argonathrpg.com

After a while you will get the ip copy and paste it in to the browser and it should work

The second solution would be to use a proxy visit
I recommend the following
http://www.ghostproxy2.com/cgi/nph-ghost.cgi

Johannes I must say your network organizers must be damn stupid if they dont set a password to their wlan.
They let everyone surf and why arent they having a firewall or proxy or anything that blocks you from entering those sites that you arent able to visit on the normal computers.

this is EXACTLY how to do it. i found this out in my school by finding out what they block how etc. ok.

1st of all u need a usb if u dont have one u cant do this OR hope ur school hasnt blocked www.avantbrowser.com:P

works with portable firefox and other portable web browsers aswell:)

now go to www.avantbrowser.com (at home) download the browser.
next u run absetup.exe and click i agree where it asks for the destination folder click browse and instead of "my programs" locate ur usb (has to be plugged in of course) and install it to there click next now tick do not create short cuts then next untick desktop shortcuts and quick launch shortcut and keep star menu shortcut unticked now click install. when that is all done u now go to ur usb and there should be a folder called "Avant Browser" rename it something stupid for teachers not finding out reasons. now u go into ur renamed folder rename avant.exe something random aswell. now uv done all this u bring ur usb to school and run this exe now it should run avant browser because its portable (hoping ur school doesnt just block exes) now u should have avant browser running. now go to tools proxy customize a window should come up with Adress: Port: and Bypass:. this is what u want to customize in adress put vn1.cse.wustl.edu and in port put 3127 then click add. now the details in the box underneath with a tick box, tick that box and click apply then ok. now u can go on any website u want:D hopefully. this works in the uk.

also  click the arrow to hide the icon on ur desktop:P.

another thing for more proxys like vn1.cse.wustl.edu go on google and search free public proxy list.

NOTE: CANNOT LOG ON TO SOME WEBSITES. if school blocks program rename avant.exe again it should be unblocked. schools cannt block the unlimited website surfing like this! they can with websites like www.proxywebsite.com etc.

HOPE THIS HELPED :D
