Title: That Windows 8

Everything was fine on windows 7. I installed windows 8, used same SA:MP and GTA SA but when i click on "connect" like i didn't. Anyone knows problem?

Download DirectX 9.0 , it isn't supported on W8.1 so you need to download a special version that I don't feel like searching for..
google "windows 8 DirectX 9.0c" download a few things, hope one works.

Had the same problem, this works for me.

That's not Windows 8 problem, that's the problem that occurs on every windows from Windows 7 and up after reinstalling your windows. There is a compatibility mismatch with SA:MP and GTA SA.exe, one of them is set on a different compatibility mode than the other. Try making sure theyre both off the compatibility mode. If not, then try   reinstalling SAMP, always helped for me, and this shit occured on windows 7 to me too so dont blame 8.

Okay, thanks i'll give a try what you said.

EDIT: Installed DirectX and reinstalled SA:MP and it's working fine now, moderators can lock topic.

Windows 8 nor Windows 8.1 requires compability mode for GTA:SA or SA:MP. Both are installed in normal way for me and work without issues after installing the DirectX.

That's not what I mean. If he has two hard disk partitions and has had compatibility modes set in Windows 7, they may mess up, so he has to fix it.
