Title: Battlefield 4
Post by: Batta on January 04, 2014, 10:38:07 am
I liked the game even if the story didn't convince me much. They could have exalt their work on graphic details by making us play more in urban environment but they went for the "big place boom boom pew" strategy. Too bad. I find the combat system still heavy and too restricting.

Max settings.

I don't get why it's a bad thing. It's always has been the principle of Battlefield, from Battlefield 1942 all the way to Battlefield 3. that's what made it different from Call of Duty - big maps and freedom. Though, the last Battlefield which was still tolerable to me was Battlefield 3. When I noticed that Battlefield 4 is exactly the same as three, with only other maps, other storyline and a commander mode back (Which was there in BF2 and was later cut for no reason), Im not getting it. DICE became money hungry inifnity ward, instead of focusing on making the game different looking, release a new one each year.. Fuck you DICE, for ruining one of my favourite franchizes... I'll stick to BFBC2.

Yeah, you're right. I said this considering the good steap ahead they made comparing to what graphics engine BF3 had. It's a bit better considering the quality but much smoother. That's why they should have dared and place more missions in the urban jungle and take advantage of the great detail level they could reach.

Exactly. That's why especially this chapter didn't excite me much.
