The Federici Mafia has been around since the 1960s. It has been operating in several cities, the first one being Palermo. The mafia faced several problems in Palermo, the biggest problem being the death of Pedro Federici, the founder of the mafia. This resulted in a chaos. Nobody was capable of managing the entire mafia alone so the Federici mafia was thought to be gone for over 5 years. Until the long awaited leader stepped in on September 23rd, 1974. He was known by the name of Enzo Federici. This man was extremely wise, he realized the threat of the other mafias in Palermo, and quickly evacuated the mafia to Liberty City. There he got married with a mexican-spanish woman, Sarah Federici. He had two children with her, Maurizio and Marco. In 2009 Enzo and his wife Sarah were involved in a car accident which resulted in the death of both Enzo and Sarah. This meant that Marco, the eldest son of Enzo, would have to take his fathers place as the leader. His smaller brother Maurizio, took his mothers place as the co-leader. The Russian Mafia in Libery City took advantage of this situation and attacked in the worst time possible, resulting in a burnt down Federici HQ and 27 dead Federicis. Marco and his brother Maurizio fled to Argonath and settled there. Marco was bugged by the constant headlines humiliating the Federici family. He could not take it anymore, he kept thinking: "What would my father think about this situation if he was to see this? He sure would be disappointed in me." This lead him to make the decision of resurrecting the fallen mafia once again; this time, in Argonath.

The Federici Mafia is a crime organization operating in all of San Andreas. We do all kinds of criminal activities such as hitman contracts, robberies, drugdealing, bribery etc... We always keep a good reputation. We do not tolerate those who make a bad name for us. We are loyal to those who stay loyal to us. And those who mess with us... well you don't want to know what will happen to them... if we told you, you wouldn't sleep tonight. We say what we mean and we do what we say.
