Title: A matter of getting to register, by StormenOne
Post by: MoneyTaker on January 21, 2014, 01:12:58 am
Hello Players
Today I tryed to get into your server. I entered, it connected, but no login or register screen. I am a stranger to the reasons of that behaviour but I would like to know your opinion on this

Could be lag. Try again in a bit or wait a while more.

That's an odd issue which I have once experienced when my network was acting up.
Could you try changing your IP address or restarting your router before connecting again.

If you connect, you're not routeblocked.

And didn't worked? Are you sure that you're using 0.3x SA:MP version and not 0.3z RC1/RC2 or any other version? Install this one (http://files.sa-mp.com/sa-mp-0.3x-R2-install.exe) and try again.

Could you explain us if you receive any error, or if you at least receive any message... A SS would help a lot!

now I cant take. i am on an eduroam network and game servers are blocked in this one. but well. i can tell you that there are no error messages. only says "Connected To Argonath RPG" and nothing more happens.

I tryed to connect in so many ways. I changed my IP, and even tryed to go through a proxy to check for bugs. And well...nothing. I even tryed to login using some already registered users names just to see if a login screen appears and nothing (it could be a registering only bug)...and nothing happens

We do not condone hacking or having hacks installed what so ever.
You may want to think about what the issue is here.

Having an illegal modification doesn't necessarily mean the player will use it to gain an unfair advantage.

Any further attempt of trying to devalorize a certain member of the community by making fun of him or showing a troll attitude towards him will result into a report put on your supervisor's desk.

Having an illegal modification is as good as using it, whether he plans on using it or doesn't even use it makes no difference to me.

I've never seen an illegal modification that actually does something good.

On topic by the way: My response to your entire case when you basically lied to me for days. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM-xmgAB2Pk)

Although I can't quite seem to put my finger on the point of this, my desk always has space on it when I don't have sheep being sheared on it.

:s

I just talked to Leon, and he told me I got that. I am not the only one using this computer, and my roomate told me to install it, as a speed booster. I dont know how to even use it. So I am sorry. If you feel the need to ban me, just do so.

Remove any and all traces of the "cheat" even if that means re-installing GTA SA and try the game once again.
Let us know what happens without any traces of "cheats"/"mods" installed.

I am doing that. Just discovered that there was a GTA directory in Documents, that I though there only was there some few screens, but it weighted 600MB...a lot of ghost files in there bro...

If you have not cleared the recycle bin, restore the files named "gta_sa.set" along with any fine named "GTASAsf1.b" the 1 stands for slot one so it will be different if the savegame was in another slot.

Now with a clean install it still doesn't appear at all?

Only excuse for s0**** is for scripting/debugging purposes. You just don't enter ANY other server with it.

Same man! University is taking up a lot of time, currently working in an advisory project for a semi-public bank. They want a security framework based on ISO27001, for which i am now certified to work with : )

However, where i say University, i also say friends, certain liquid beverages and fun stuff! I'll drop you a line on skype soon!
