Title: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' Grammy performance weds 30+ straight & gay couples
Post by: Teddy on January 27, 2014, 05:56:12 am: The Grammys is no stranger to many historic events however today another one is set. During a performance of Same Love by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis a song about gay rights, Queen Latifa takes the stage introducing 33 couples both gay and straight and legally announcing them married. The internet literally blew up minutes later with outstanding support for the LGBT community.

A large wedding; 40+ million live witnesses. Absolutely incredible. I'm honestly stunned by this act and no doubt is a huge step in the right direction. The song's lyrics include this quote:
