 R.I.O.N is an organization of the people of the State of Argonath, who are displeased with the current state of the economy, the property system, and etc.

Who are we?
R.I.O.N. is made up from members of different organizations, families, clubs, gangs and companies. Anyone who wishes to stand up and protest against the changes, is more than welcome to join us.

Parttaking organizations/groups:
Angels of Death MC - Represented by TheGreasyChopper
Stracci Family - Represented by Danny Stracci
Parts of the Ancelotti Family
And any citizen unhappy with the current economy.

Where to find us?

The Organization takes place in the State Bar in Pershing Square

What we want:
1. Higher Payments
2. More state jobs
3. Lower Advertisement Prices
4. Higher Payments for EMS
5. Return of properties to people who owned them for more than 2 years
6. Return of Active Groups' HQs
7. Less Police Violence
8. Less use of Lethal force by the ARPD

We want change, not in the future. We want it now.


Reason and aims for this organization:
 A big percent of the SA:MP players are not happy with the RS5 System as it's not yet complete. Others aren't happy with it's Group Structure, or Economy.
 The most suggested way to fix it: Get people active and make it work.
 This is how people in R.I.O.N plan to do it: Get InGame, Protest, Keep Roleplay going and hopefully get SA:MP back active.

 This is pointed to YOU mr. RS5 Critic. You can complain all day on Forums, while you won't do much. Head IG, protest against the parts of RS5 you do not like. Suggest ways to improve it.

 Last but not least, this was inspired by the ongoing Ukraine Riots and protests. It is a new type of RolePlay introduced to Argonath. We have a reason, we have ideas, all we need is people to parttake. For more information, feel free to contact me.

Reading isn't my kind of thing. :rolleyes:

Would be cool to have some kind of riot against the police, I remember when NBA did a big riot and all the cops got the black bike cop skin and batons, looked pretty cool. :)

Overthrow the dictatorship and install a democracy, maybe a political system like the United Kingdom wouldn't be such a bad idea!

I am SAPD Officer Banks and I have a question for you
You say you want less police violence, yet on your protest, you jumped on several police vehicles, and started pounding your feet against them, sometimes even when our personel was inside of the vehicles.
How do you think this can solve your issues?

 We from R.I.O.N would like to apologize for the independent protesters who come on our protests and cause harm. They are anarchists and punks who just wish to cause trouble.
 We do not support such actions. Yes, there was tension between us and the P.D. but that was all caused by the bringing of the S.W.A.T Water Tank and the A.R.P.D. taking out their weapons. Such actions shall NOT be tolerated from us.
 If such aggressive behavior of the A.R.P.D continues, us, the Protesters guarantee - We shall take City Hall by Force.

The information you have presented states that you are not a protest group, but that of an anarchist riot group. Which is it? I am worried that your group may have secret intentions which do not wish to resolve the government issues, but instead take over the government itself. Should I be concerned for my safety? Someone who finally tackles the issues head on instead of beating around the bush.
If any Officer is being aggressive towards you lot without just cause then do report them directly to the ARPD Forums.  We don't condone such behaviour.

As it is easier for criminals to escape, I do not agree with some points on the reduction of (necessary) force on the ARPD's part as it could result in a higher rate of failure at this point.

However, I'm happy to see that some players are actually putting their grievances with RS5 to constructive use. This is the kind of expression we need more than simple complaining without any good cause or solution.
