So some people stayed in guest account for too long and take out free slots which annoys people. So this idea may help to stop this.
So here's the idea.
A player joins the server and he/she is given a amount of time to login.Lets say about 1 minute.
If the player fails to login within the time limit, the server will automaticly kick that player.
Here's like this.
/login or /register
You have 1 minute to login/register.
If the player did not login within the time limit......
Guest was auto kicked for not login by the time limit.
Regards ;)

Sounds fair to me. I believe the SA:MP server itself allowed them 30 seconds in SA:MP RS4.1. Not sure what it is in SA:MP RS5, but I'm assuming the same. MTA:VC is also set to 30 seconds, IIRC.

1 min is too short, when its full I just go away from pc till it finally takes a spot, and I wouldnt try 2 times to get in(if I try 1 time if/after this suggestion is accepted) it can even take 10 15 mins sometimes to get in and one would only be mad if a player can wait 15 mins and server cant even wait 1 min.
/unsupported, also its not needed unless server is full, so even if it will be scripted, it has to be scripted as it will apply only when serveris full

True.

I think he means after your character spawns, not when you're waiting for the game to "catch up".

Why do you have to unsupport every suggestion.I've been reading most suggestions and most of them you did not support -_-

Same reason that you dont suggest supportable ideas. :P
If you want a serious answer though...

I support this idea a lot, I mean, one of the major problems of IVMP server are the slots and this idea can help with that.

This idea it's to prevent what you do :-)

Oh, sure then when there are no players in dont ask the reason cos people wont be entering to a server that will make you wait and then kick you incase u be away for 1 min then end up crashing whole game.. Meanwhile the game crashed due to autokick, no one will come back.
-
If a person doesnt look to the game and remain in game, afk ping also will show 0 after a period, those who remain with same ping means they re not using pc, which in this case person is for a short time, busy with something else and will be right back in a short period. Why should we punish people who comes to server and just be afk, people are waiting to get in server, in return community gotta respect to it too, therefore Im not supporting it. With the combination of crashes and this, would be a reason not to come back to a full server, after a crash.
-
It seems like you can't see the other side. Whats about the players that can't join the server due to the people is in the "guest mode" because they're busy doing something else?

Talk in your own. SA:MP RPG (when was running RS4.1) had this limit, but 30secs, and had more than 250 players daily, and they came back everyday :-)! It seems to be you the one that gets annoyed for this, not the 'people'.

/unsupported some times it takes me average 10-15 minutes to get in game that's why i started playing in windowed mode so i can be on youtube or facebook while i wait if i would get kicked after 10 minutes of waiting that would really make me doubt playing GTA IV even tho i like the game i don't wanna lose 10-15 minutes just to get in game and get kicked after 1 minute of not logging in.
-
I would like to unsupport that because of the reason when the server is full most of the time i am waiting for a slot to get free and some times i stand up from the computer to do something else while i wait for the slot what about if it finded the slot and i am not back yet and get kicked
unsupported

Dont forget that you re not in SA:MP, SA:MP Has a great player base, which cant be used to compare this situation, and players are not ppl who gotta be ignored just to fullfill the server... If someone is waiting, he shouldnt be punished for just going out to do something else...
These people who play in server are not bots which gonna wait 10 15 mins in front of PC, just cos lots of people there are to play, why the player should worth lesser? I mean he/she just gonna go away for some mins, meanwhile somehow he ll get a slot after waiting that much... and then he gonna get kicked? If you find it fair, this is not an argument that will finish. And if an idea like this should be implemented, the autokicker gotta kick for lets say 10 mins. Not a time like 1 min... Im just not unsupporting a time like 1 min...

I think Talya is the most realistic person around here (at least who is posting replies). Unsupported for the exact reasons that Talya said. Murdoxix, try to put yourself behind a player who is new to the whole IVMP and who doesnt even know how to write ( i mean that he has to press T and then start writing... It will take more than a minute to thinl at a username (in case of /register). Again: Unsupported

After Reading the Whole topic. I am unsupporting this Idea.
