Title: Jailing system idea.
Post by: vuleprotuva on February 10, 2014, 08:20:14 pm
Well I had an idea of making the interior of the prison usable and other prison facilities. Implement prison guards, and also, the jailing / prison system depending on the felonies you did.
For example:

For escaping the police stop - 1 years of prison (1 hour)
Drug dealing (Depending on the quantity) from 4 - 8 years (4 - 8 hours).
Murder - 3 years (3 hours).
Murdering a LEO - 7 years (7 hours).

etc etc. That way the number of "trolling" cops to chase / arrest you will be lower and people will clearly start to RP the situations! :) What do you think?

Argonath does not have the system of jailing people for long periods of time scriptwise, so this suggestion is likely to be denied.

You can do that in Mordor if you want to (Not recommended)
If you want to jail someone for hours you can simply jail him in mordor for example if he treated the National Security (Terrorism) you can jail him form 1 to 3 hours and more if he keeps bad behaving in Mordor, its your choice.

Why do SAMP players have this random interest in IVMP issues xD

Due to lack of usual SAMP player quantity is not there anymore cos of RS5 is released, less topics are now being opened, so people on SAMP are getting bored and cant find a place to post therefore post on other servers' topics. At least what Im thinking! xD

About the idea, I really would like to have this type of system, Jail RP could be really cool; but only if there were some guards too and in a server with 32 ppl, mmmhh, it wouldnt be good to waste some players on guarding etc. , we already have a low max player cap.

I hope you meant minutes (?)

Not really. Because if the sentences were in minutes, people will just continue to provoke the PD just like they did yesterday, to get in a chase or a shoot out. This way (The hour sentence system), people will have more passive RP with the PD and will try to make ideas and find a way how not to get the PD involved in drug deals, etc. Also it could be implemented when the capacity of the server can be developed to more than 32 people.

Do you understand that we could reach the situation where 31 players are in jail  for hours and there is only one "free" cop around?
What about a player who killed a LEO and plays one hour per day? He would pass a week in jail..

On a more serious note. If you proposed this idea to deal with provokers, note that you just need to /report the misbehaviour to the administration, which will take care of it.
