Title: I want to learn C++
Post by: Kitsune on November 26, 2007, 02:55:28 pm
I don't know anything about C++ but I would like to learn it.

Can anyone recommend a C++ Program I should use (free) and a site where I can get some documentation (but one for beginners, I don't know even the basics of this language) so that I can learn how to use C++?

In my highschool, I learnt pascal but only briefly, I am knowledgable in only the basics of pascal.

A few days ago I started using Bloodshed for C++ and using the guides off http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/ but after a while, it got too complicated and I did not really understand some things. Anyone have sites with good tutorials?

well C++ is quite easy if you are writing a calculator.. hell, i wrote a book in it.

also the newb's biggest question is how to stop the program from closing when you do that return 0;

all you have to do is leech a do-while loop script or memorize it... thats the most important script of the program ;)
