I just thought that with all the hate towards RS5 (and its creators) going on it is quite rare that a positive comment is heard. So why not make a thread just to thank all contributors about their work. We have to keep in mind that this was all voluntary work which lasted for years, so let's give the contributors some recognition.
Let's all thank:
Gandalf
Conroy
Gimli
Zaila
[Rstar]CBFasi
=AV=Pingster
ANUNNAKI
DHRMike
Fred_Wakefield
KhronateMonkey
[Rstar]Louis_Keyl
[WS]Jones
[WS]Teddy
[Rstar]Devin
And any other contributer who I might have left out
(Shush, the names were not copied from /help credits)
And at last: Please do not make this thread an argument.
Keep Rockin' :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

Bugs and eliminating them are a natural part of the development process. Therefore, instead of looking at where the devs went wrong, let's look at where they went right and how we can help them further that by smoothening out the wrinkles.
Kudos to this topic. We need more people with a mindset like this. :app:

Couldn't have said it better myself!
Thank you guys!! Here's to a bright future for Argonath. :)

Finally people have seen the potential of the new gamemode. People are getting active and it's more fun than it has ever been before!
Good job indeed to anyone that has been contribute positively!

At first everybody was like WTF.
It's like using a new product which at first you fail to adapt but latetly you love it and uses it daily.

There were many who actually contributed and are still contributing to the RS5 than the names you mentioned there. I don't want to be a douchebag but a few names from your list have nothing to do with what you said above. I think you shouldn't give names, this shows a lack of respect for others. I can also give you an example, Devin; his work and effort is unspeakable and we all know it. He is missing from your list which is really pissing me off. Instead of creating a list, you should have thanked to the whole staff.

I hope we can find something to thank you with for the work that you have done, really good job thanks!

If I were one of the developers, the initial reaction upon RS5's release would have demotivated me. Try putting yourself in their shoes and thinking how you would feel if your work (which you put a shitload of freetime in, in exchange for nothing, but had to be rushed due to circumstances you had no control over) was widely moaned at by people instead of them trying to help you make it (near-)perfect.
I hope topics like these will serve to remind them that despite the moaners and those who have no intention of contributing, there are still loyal players who genuinely appreciate their work, whether spoken or not.
As our old man said, we do what we do for those who stay, not those who leave.

We're back. Nothing else than that and we have a group of incredible people to thank. Everyone who's had a part in RS5, either Scripter, people who report bugs on the forum or just regular players learning the script. You all should get a firm tap on the shoulder for standing up when we needed you the most!

This is exactly why I decided to post this topic. Very well told ;)

I'm glad to see this topic and all the comments. It's just amazing to see all that work from the developers is being appreciated. I think it's what they wanted since they started this project.
We, as players or admins or whatever we are (it doesn't matter) should try to keep improving ourselves and start fixing every kind of problems we have. Remember that the more you act properly, the better for yourself and for the community. We're not just a bunch of players playing on a server, we've been and we still are a big family over the internet.
Thank you EVERYONE, from the newest player to the HQ. Everyone is an important part of this.
Once again, thanks and keep it up!
