Try replacing your gta_sa.exe with another one, it may be corrupted.
Also, do you have your GTA on your desktop in a map called 'SAMP'?

@Brian: I've replaced the gta with another 1 now and I don't have gta in my SAMP file.

Try to reinstall GTA:SA and SA:MP, delete "gta.sa.set" which is in the "Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files." And remove the mods if you've installed, those might be source of the problem.

I believe I had this problem before. Try installing the 2005 visual runtime, or whatever its called I forgot. It has SP1, SP2, etc. C++... NET framework 1.1, I believe, really can't remember.

Hi. All accounts were wiped after the release of RS5 so you have register again.

I had this problem aswell, and neither the uninstall/reinstall of Microsoft Visual C++ helped me. The only way to fix this is to create a new user through the Control Panel and play, at least that was the solution for me.

Move the GTA Folder to another location...
