Okay this is pretty weird. I have connected my PC with my LG TV through an HDMI cable and even though the NVidia program detects the audio output my Sound Control Center fails to do so. I have set it so taht I can see both Disabled and Unplugged devices but still see only one. "Speakers"(which are my headphones)
I am running on Windows 7 Ultimate. And my PC was "built" so the problem could posibly be in the "link".

I think there's a section for "PCs" in your TV, which accepts monitor cables(or whatever they're called), it also has a place for audio wires.
I think it might help you, but I'm not sure.

Well the thing is that the HDMI cable itself is supposed to be enough for both sound and "vision". And while the Nvidia program accepts that you can send the PC sound there, the PC itself completely denies its existance...

Are you drivers to your graphics card up-to-date? As sometimes that can be the main issue.

I use AMD graphics card, which also has HDMI port. Windows own sound settings display HDMI ports for me, even though I am not using it at the moment.

I would suggest checking drivers - make sure you have all drivers installed, preferably newest.

The Video Driver just got uptodate, didn't help though

Well unfortunatelly it is not like that to me. Though I'd like know how to check every driver and to update them
