National Task Force are only operating inside the borders in extreme cases. They are put in only in terrorist attempts or when police / other civilians are in danger or if SWAT(Piketen) can't handle it.
SOG mostly operates outside the borders. They are trained military which is trained for doing special things, like hit and run missions :p

The SAS
Obviously being British I'm going to say that the SAS are the best, influenced by the fact that they pretty much created modern military tactics that every country today trains around, the SAS also go through the longest and hardest training regime's out of all the worlds special forces, sometimes resulting in the deaths of the normal soldiers training to become a member of the SAS just like the 3 last year in the Brecon Beacons who collapsed whilst on a 20 mile hike across mountainous terrain, the SAS are also currently deployed in Iraq thought to be protecting Christian minorities and also hunting for the Jihadist who recently beheaded a US news reporter on video before it was published online.

Info:
The British Special Air Service was created in 1941 as a force which could operate behind German and Italian lines and support resistance movements against the occupation forces. Understandably, the force is made up of British military personnel with the most coming from the airborne forces. Physical requirements are harsh and require a lot of marching with full packa. This culminates in a 40 mile march with a full pack that must be finished in 20 hours. Candidates must also be able to swim two miles in an hour and a half and run four miles in 30 minutes. After this, you get dropped in the jungle to learn survival and navigational skills, after which you endure survival practice. The final test is a 36-hour interrogation session meant to break the candidate’s will. The handful who make it through this get transferred to an operation force for further training. Not convinced this is ‘better’ than the SEALs? It may help you to know that the SAS is also trained by MI5 and MI6 security and intelligence services to undertake counter-espionage operations. It’s like having a SEAL and James Bond all rolled into one.

Google's four-legged robot spot begins increasingly approaching to put into use in real and now writes the US Marines that have begun to use spot in their exercises.
During the exercise so got among other spot test on the way up the mixed terrain while the remote was controlled via a laptop and a gaming control of 500 meters. Spot is primarily meant to be used for reconnaissance and to wear pack and is in the current situation is not equipped with any weapons.
Spot is developed by Boston Dynamics that Google bought up two years ago. Google said then that it would develop a few more robots for the US military but that it would fulfill the agreements Boston Dynamics had with the military before the takeover.
Before Boston Dynamics acquired by Google had developed a wide range of robots for the US military and among those found, including the humanoid robots, Atlas and Petman and the four-legged robots Cheeta, Big Dog, AlphaDog and littledog.

You have no idea regarding the ammount of women nowadays in the army. Speaking from my own knowledge, lots of women in Portugal have been embracing not only the military (Air forces, navy and army), but also the Police forces. There is still a lot of discrimination over women, but don't you ever underestimate these women... They can kick your ass!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_iMZN6x6d0
This is D.A.E. - Destacamento de Ações Especiais, something like Special Forces Department. They are part of Portugal's Navy, and these men are trained to fulfill their missions not only on the ground, but also both sky and ocean. They are known to be a very "secret" organization, since most of them are not allowed to reveal their identity nor their missions.
They are very strict when it comes to recruit new soldiers, since their acceptance rate goes from 5 to 10%.

Always been a big fan of the 7th Panzer Division (Ghost Division). Served under Rommel and Heinz Guderian's command, whom pretty much invented tank warfare. Here's a picture with their commander Generalleutnant Karl Mauss:

These are the guys who invented tank warfare and Blitzkrieg. Still to be surpassed.
The 7th Panzer Division was an elite armored formation of the German Army in the Second World War. It participated in the Battle of France, the invasion of the Soviet Union, the occupation of Vichy France, and the defensive battles on the Eastern Front till the end of the war.
The division met with great success in France in 1940, and then again in Russia in 1941. In May 1942, the division was withdrawn from Russia and sent back to France to replace losses and refit. It returned to southern Russia following the defeat at Stalingrad, and helped to check a general collapse of the front in a series of defensive battles as part of Army Group Don, and participated in General Erich von Manstein's counter stroke at Kharkov.[1] The division fought in the unsuccessful offensive at Kursk in the summer of 1943, suffering heavy losses in men and equipment and was further degraded in the subsequent Russian counteroffensive.[2]
"Ghost Division"[edit]
The 7th Panzer Division moved with great speed through France and covered vast distances. During the Battle of France, the 7th Panzer Division earned the name of the Ghost Division (German:"Gespensterdivision") because its rapid movements led to few knowing exactly where the division was, including the German High Command. Rommel took the Panzerwaffe's "lead from the front" concept to heart. The small unit leadership and daring he displayed in the First World War translated well to the command of a panzer force, especially since Guderian had set up the communication system of the panzer divisions to allow command and control from any unit in the division. Rommel was able to drive the pace of operations of the Division, be present where ever the crucial point might be, and found protection for his forces in the speed of his operations. The commanders of the German panzer forces were able to operate much faster than what a commander issuing orders from his headquarters could achieve.[13][N 2] He believed that the best place for a commander was near the point of action. In addition, he would sometimes deliberately 'lose' communications with the High Command if he felt it necessary. His fearless command of the 7th Panzer Division showed his confidence and understanding of blitzkrieg concepts. The success they experienced and his favor with Hitler prevented any repercussions from the High Command, some of whom criticized Rommel for being difficult to contact and locate. Rommel described the French Campaign in his letters to his wife as "a lightning Tour de France".

Always been a big fan of the 7th Panzer Division (Ghost Division). Served under Rommel and Heinz Guderian's command, whom pretty much invented tank warfare. Here's a picture with their commander Generalleutnant Karl Mauss:

The Coastal Rangers – Kustjägarna
[/size]
The Coastal Rangers are an elite special force from Sweden and they are part of the Amphibious platoon in the Swedish Navy. Their main role, in the event of war, would be to retake islands and parts of the Swedish coast from the enemy. The Coastal Rangers, in Sweden known as Kustjägarna, undergo a rigorous training and selection process and they are one of the most highly trained units in the Swedish Armed Forces (SAF).
The Coastal Rangers are equipped and trained for insertions from the sea, mostly using a boat called Warboat 90. The special-made boat is 15 metres long and capable of speeds over 35 knots. It can stop very quickly indeed – from 35 to 0 knots within 10 metres! The Coastal Rangers are also trained for silent insertion with a special-made canoe.
TRAINING AND SELECTION OF THE SWEDISH COASTAL RANGERS
The Commando selection to become member of the Coastal Rangers includes a forced march (6.5 kilometres with 20 kg pack to be completed in 42 minutes), and a steeplechase course over water and land across 65 kilometres with a pack. The Ranger course includes an endurance march with full pack and canoeing 200 kilometres in 48 hours.
The Attack Divers course at the Coastal Ranger/Commando School (Kustjaegarskolan) lasts nine months. It includes diving using the Aga-Oxydive close-circuit systems. One of the last major tests the divers have to pass before graduation is a two kilometre swim between different islands, which must have an accuracy of 10 metres from start to the end point.
WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT
The Coastal Rangers are equipped with a wide range of modern weapons, very similar as world’s most elite forces of similar purpose. Most common is the Swedish AK5 (a highly modified FN FNC) with underslung Colt M203 grenade launcher. They also use the AK4 (Heckler & Koch G3) as well as the KSP90 (FN Minimi LMG). Officers can in addition use the Glock 17/19 semi-auto pistol. They also have available a range of anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons.
The Coastal Rangers was created in 1956 and modeled after the British post-World War II marine commando forces such as the Special Boat Service (SBS) and U.S. Underwater Demolition Teams, with the objective to create a highly mobile force which had the flexibility to operate behind enemy lines and conduct raids against an invading force in the littoral areas of Sweden. The Coastal Rangers was during the late parts of the cold war used mainly as a very highly trained light infantry/commando unit whose main tasks were amphibious landings and assaults.
Like the United States Navy SEALs, the Coastal Rangers / Kustjägarna also have the trident as their insignia. During their training, the Kustjägarna are also awarded a green beret just like in the US Special Forces and the Ranger tab just like in the United States Army Ranger School.
