Hey guys!
So, as the topic says, is there a mouse fix out there? You know, one that won't make you spam Esc-to-main-menu back and fourth all the time?
Thanks for the help,
Reddy.

Get a legit Vice City installation.
I used to have downloaded versions as well, which made this happen.
Then I got my VC legit, and I never had problems with my mouse unable to be moved, again.

Other then that?

There's some CLEO mod along with an ASI mod that solves it.

No need to use any kind of CLEO shiz or anything like that. Just put this into GTA:VC folder. This fixed my GTA:SA mouse bug and I was surprised when I desperatly tried to get rid of the VC mouse bug and used this - it worked.

That helped! Thanks Rytukils! :)

I fixed it by going into task manager in windows and setting the CPU affinity (right click gta_vc.exe) to a single core (just use core 0). From time to time you still need to alt-tab once, but it doesn't hinder gameplay.

This seems to have been the best fix for most.
A similar file to the DINPUT8.DLL can also be used for GTA: SA if you're experiencing similar problems, particularly on newer operating systems such as Windows 8.

It's the same file that I use for GTA SA :D
