Title: [FIXED] GTA IV, IV-MP Referenced Memory Problem.
Post by: _Jimmy_ on July 03, 2014, 09:33:47 pm
GTAIV.exe - Application Error
(X) The instruction at 0x65416c0d referenced memory at 0x65416c0d. The memory could not be written.

Click on OK to terminate the program

                                                                                                                                              [            OK            ]

How to fix the problem?
All you have to do is to reinstall the game. It should fix the problem.

Another problem I've found after that!
The IV-MP turns on perfectly now, but something still doesn't work. When I turn on the IV-MP, go to the Find Server, Click Argonath-RPG then connect, it loads up the game.
Now the problem appears, The Game shuts down every time it connects. Me and my friend are looking to fix that problem now, if we will find out the problem, I'll post the update. So after restarting my laptop, I've tried running the game. The Client worked a bit longer than usual since I had the problem. The game crashes when it reaches a certain point, like "Connecting to the server." I think that the solution to the problem is by tweaking something in IV-MP Client. Take the fact that I haven't installed any mods to my game. I've tried running the game by different compatibility modes. The game still doesn't work.
I think that the only fix to it is by another IV-MP Client version or Windows Reinstall. Nothing much I can do to fix the problem.

Before reinstalling my Windows, I will check for the computer fixer program. If this will not fix my memory issues, I will have to Format my HDD and Install not Windows 8.1, but Windows 7. Windows 8.1 is better for Tablets or small Notebooks with touch screen.

The Program I will use will be RegClean Professional Edition. I hope this will bring some changes to the speed of my laptop AND the way my GTA doesn't want to open.
I used the program, cleaned up my laptop from everything, now there is only one hope that the Game will finally work.

Fixed the problem!
All you have to do is download the RegClean Professional Edition and clean up your registry, this will also clear out any problems you had with any Program or Game.
Good Luck for anyone that got the same problem like me.

So, It works after reinstalling the game, but! Here is the but! The game automatically shuts down after connecting to any server. I'll make some screen shots.

True, I fixed the problem by using RegCleanPro. All of the files were corrupted in my registry... I'm so happy these programs exist :)   :gand:
