Title: Police barricade
Post by: Martijn on July 07, 2014, 08:25:16 am
Hello all,

I saw, admins (in this case Haythem) could place objects for a event. So i came to the idea, FBI agents could place police barriers at the crime scene of (for example) a kidnapping.
Click HERE (http://puu.sh/a0fCU/408947a8f6.jpg) to see an example of the barriers FBI agents should be able to place. Everyone knows these barriers (from the singleplayer), with the text "Police do not cross".

Here a example of how it should work:

/placebarrier - Places the barrier where the FBI agent is standing, with the text to where he is looking at.
/removebarrier - Removes the last placed barrier. (For example, if it is wrong/ugly placed)
/removeall - Removes all barriers the FBI agent placed since his last login on the server. (If the situation has been ended)

Also, all barriers should be removed if an FBI agent is not in the server for more than 5 minutes. This, to avoid barriers everywhere, and when a FBI agent crashes, the barriers are still there when he/she comes back.

Let me know what you think, and share your opinions!

I guess Fbis have enough advantages to make a good blockage system

I guess u saw something wrong.Only managers can do that.
Well alright, maybe a manager placed it. However, it is possible to place objects in-game, this what i care about, so FBI agents could get the ability to place such those objects i've mentioned above.

Alright so admins can add that kinda barricades,so when theres an admin online, why don't u ask the admins to add barricades and it is recommended that while doing such kinda RPs u should ask an admin to be there to avoid Rp ruiners

Police/FBI should not be dependent by an Admin for placing barriers. Besides that, admins got other things to do.

Alright then, lets talk about ur suggestion.I would like to see those barricades as its a great idea to improve rps so im supporting it and btw we have enough admins, moderators and managers in the server at that time so 1 of them would not hesitate to join the RP.

If I am not mistaken, high police authorities can create/remove a barricade.

Did you think that you can use your police vehicle for such thing? Just turn on the sirens and get out of it.
