Title: Can't log into Facebook..

This is the only community/forum I use so..


I have been trying to access my facebook account for a week now but when I log in, it stops loading at the loading_attempt=1 page... I am sure that it doesn't log in cause I get notification on my phone when my account is logged into.

I have tried several browsers (IE 10 on WP8, IE11 on WP8.1, Safari on iOS 7, Chrome on iOS 7, Chrome on Win 7) but they all give the same problem... I have tried deleting cookies, caches, history, etc. but it just won't work.

I am able to log into my Facebook account through any FB application on any platform (tried FB Beta on WP8(.1) and FB app for iOS), and messenger application on any platform.

I haven't got any reply from Facebook...

I would suggest using your phone to make sure you don't have any malicious or suspicious FB apps also accessing your account. Additionally, scan your computer for any malicious software including spyware, viruses, and browser hijackers.

As I said, I have tried that. The same results everywhere no matter what browser on what platform i use...

Alrighty. If it works on another computer, then it is something with your system. If it happens on the other computer, then it is your Facebook account, in which case you will need to contact Facebook's support team for assistance.

The situation was the same with any other computer (tried a different pc and laptop both running Windows 7). However, through Facebook app, I fiddled around with my Facebook settings and upon saving, I could log in to my account through any browser again.
