I'm heavly tired on these " You don't have automatic updates turned on click here" etc all the windows messages stuff just takes memory on startup and they are also annoying.
I want more control over my computer. Help me to turn these bullshit recommendation messages off.
Btw i'm using Microsoft XP home edition Service pack 2

But, surely it helps everything load up faster on start-up?

As there is a limit to the RAM that Windows versions can use, more RAM is not always useful.
-
Yes amount of RAM dictates speed, but these "warning"messages are popups and are system coordinated, so amount of RAM wont fix this.

yes, WinXP supports 3.2 GB of RAM for example, no matter if your motherboard can hold 4 GB and u put 4GB, your XP will see only 3.2GB (system limit)

Does XP take up the rest of the RAM for itself, like, system operations or something?
-
No, no,no XP can Only see 3.2GB its the sys maximum, i think 256 MB is quite enough for XP + normal usage (office usage)

So there is no point in putting 4GB in a PC that is running XP...?
-
How much ram can the other operating systems handle like Linux and Vista?
-
it would depend on all the other hardware

So the maximum for Linux and Vista is dependent on hardware but for XP it is not?
-
By first it deppends of how much can your motherboard hold..., Linux irlly dont know, as for vista 64bit tehnology has passed that 3.2GB bug of XP but what is limmit i rlly dont know...

Download Startup Mechanic, it allows you to take control of what you want displayed. You can either accept the inoming notice, or deny.
-
Start>run>Type: msconfig
no need for downloading more shit that starts up and slows your computer MORE... god

Some people in this topic started discussing ram.
What do ram have with error messages to do anyway?
I will show pics on what i want removed.
I do not want configure hardware shit to pop up as soon i stop things in. I wanna open the guide on my own.
I do not want any shitty pop up from update about dit and dat. Also i don't want the computer to update itself even if i don't want to (sometimes it does even with auto update shut off)
Basicly i want help with removing all shitty window features that are annoying and not needed to use a computer.
For example GTFO with the pop ups like these, i hate them and they take perfonmance
Simply i want more control, but i still want to use windows because i know the OS enough to understand it. Not on a coding lvl but on a understand how you use it lvl.
Anyways please help, and no more off-topic.

I know RAM has nothing to do with those pop-up messages, but, he said they were slowing his computer down, so... get more RAM to speed it up :D
