Task Force Black will aim to “cut the head off the snake†by hitting the command structure of the Islamist terror group responsible for a trail of destruction.
Target: Islamic State gunmen led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
Elite British and US special forces troops are forming a hunter killer unit called Task Force Black – its orders: “Smash the Islamic State.â€Â
The undercover warriors will aim to “cut the head off the snake†by hitting the command structure of the Islamist terror group responsible for a trail of atrocities across Iraq and Syria, reports the Sunday People.
PM David Cameron has told the SAS and UK spy agencies to direct all their ÂÂresources at defeating IS after a video of US journalist James Foley being beheaded shocked the world.
British special forces will work with America’s Delta Force and Seal Team 6. The move sees a rebirth of top secret Task Force Black, which helped defeat al-Qaeda terrorists in Iraq .
This time the counter-terrorist ÂÂexperts will be targeting Abu Bakr ÂÂal-Baghdadi, leader of IS and now the world’s most wanted terrorist.
A source said: “We need to go into Syria and Iraq and kill as many IS members as we can. You can’t ÂÂnegotiate with these people.
“This is not a war of choice. They are cash rich and have a plentiful ÂÂsupply of arms. If we don’t go after them, they will soon come after us.
In Iraq, Task Force Black was carrying out strike operations every night.
"It was an unrelenting, intelligence-led assault on al-Qaeda. It took a lot of hard work and no small amount of sacrifice – but it worked.
“Defeating IS cannot be done by air strikes alone. You have to get on the ground and take out the commanders – cut off the snake’s head.
“The organisation will then begin to collapse. IS targets civilians and has yet to get into a real fight with a ÂÂmodern Western military.
“The SAS and US special forces will do untold damage to them.
“They’ll focus on the high command. This is going to be a long campaign, probably lasting years.
“And it will be like nothing the West has ever had to confront before.â€Â
The new task force will comprise a squadron of the SAS, special forces aircrews from the RAF and agents from MI5 and MI6.
The operation will be led by America’s CIA spy agency.
One of the first jobs will be to identify the British Muslim shown on an IS video released last week apparently cutting Foley’s head off with a knife.
UK intelligence sources confirmed that the killer, believed to be a British-born Pakistani from London, is already at the top of a CIA “kill listâ€Â.
The bloodthirsty thug, dubbed “Jailer Johnâ€Â, was one of a brutal trio of Britons nicknamed “The Beatles†who guard IS kidnap victims.
Former IS captives said up to 20 foreigners are being held by IS.
The joint US/British unit will ÂÂconduct strike operations against IS in both Syria and Iraq.
Troops will also train Kurdish Peshmerga fighters.
Prime Minister David Cameron and President Barack Obama are determined not to send large numbers of ground troops, so the use of small teams of special forces working with local militias is their only option.
Downing Street has revealed that Britain will send “non-lethal†equipment including night-vision equipment and body armour to Kurdish fighters this week.
Work has already begun creating a network of spies and informers who will supply Task Force Black with ÂÂhigh-grade human intelligence.
British and US spy planes will eavesdrop on ÂÂmobile phone calls and pinpoint the location of IS commanders.
Operations will also be mounted to snatch middle-ranking IS commanders for interrogation by CIA analysts.
US Navy Seals showed that intelligence gathered over years can be used to mount a kill operation when they shot dead Osama bin Laden in 2011.
The new task force plans similar surprise attacks in which ÂÂsophisticated “silent†helicopters land troops.
The SAS, Seals and Delta Force worked together on many operations in Afghanistan and share intelligence.
One source said: “Intelligence will be key to our operations. We have to build a network to defeat a network.
"The brutal tactics of IS mean a lot of people want to see them gone.
“They have people fighting for them who are too frightened to leave.
"Young men joined IS believing they were fighting tyranny but what they saw was mass executions and beheadings.
“The CIA will offer them money and a new life – but they’ll have to deliver information first.â€Â
There are also moves to revive a defunct Iraqi special forces unit called the Apostles, which was ÂÂcreated by the first Task Force Black aÂÂfter the Iraq War.
Meanwhile Mr Cameron is under growing pressure over an alleged failure to deal with home-grown radicals.
Pictures of him surfing in Cornwall at the height of the crisis are said to have raised eyebrows even in his Cabinet.
Politicians of all parties urged action to stop radicalisation of young British Muslims and tougher restrictions on those ÂÂpeddling extremist views.
And there were renewed calls for security services to get greater powers to monitor extremists online.
It emerged that recommendations to toughen controls made five months ago by David Anderson QC, the Government’s own adviser on terrorism laws, have yet to be acted on.
In another move, Lieutenant General Sir Simon Mayall, the Government’s senior defence adviser on the Middle East, is being sent to liaise with Kurdish commanders.

It's about time this happened. These people who think that it's okay to chop people's heads off as they please need to be stopped.

The home grown ones will never be stopped, it's only a matter of time before something happens.

Let's hope justice is made.

There has to be some root cause to this. Someone doesn't just grow up and want to behead an innocent person, we need to find out what is behind it.
-
I changed the title of the topic as it was very misleading and could be offensive.
-
End of the world.
-
Good. Weird that it took so long for the world to do something.
Fucking sweat pants mafia.

The root cause: The extremists that are allowed to stand in central London blocking off roads preaching extreme hatred and lies through megaphones to tens if not hundreds of Muslim's at a time, if the police removed them from the streets instead of just standing around protecting them as a 'civil servant' maybe extremism in the UK wouldn't be as bad as it is now, I'm aware that not all extremists come out of London, many of the ones in Syria now came from Cardiff, there is this story today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-29029954

Um, This Task Force was formed over 10 years ago. It was formed after the September 11 Attacks. It's somewhat part of Task Force 88.
Task Force 88 (This is where Task Force Black comes from) is compiled of Army Delta Force, 75th Ranger Regiment Rangers, members of the USAF 24th Special Tactics Squadron, and Navy DEVGRU (Bonus Fact: The term Seal Team 6 is not official. It was disbanded 30 years ago, but it's still called that by the Media and Culture (and some soldiers too)).
Now. Task Force Black holds mostly British Special Forces (The Boat service, Reconnaissance Regiment, and Signal Regiment) plus Delta Force. I believe SAS is part of this also.
My point is. Task Force Black has been formed for years. An operation I remember from this group was about 9 years ago. Look up "Operation Marlborough." It's not a new group, probably just a new operation. One of few we'll ever hear about.

Let them all f**king burn, they're already at the borders of Lebanon at Arsal. They captured about 27 from the Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces during clashes. So far they've beheaded two of them.. One happens to be just an hour ago because he almost escaped and he also shot at them. They're going to go through hell if they step inside... Nobody supports them here. Not even us Sunnis.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQaydGiwS00
I do agree that burning the current ISIS flag with the title it holds could bother Muslims, therefore a lot of people have edited text on the flag to " Daech has no god " then burnt it.(Daech is an other name for ISIS in Arabic).. Anyway:
#BurnISISFlagChallenge.
-
Nobody supports them here. Not even us Sunnis.
Exactly. They have no place in this world and do not represent Islam in any form.

Hmm, some of the thousands of people that support IS may disagree, and unless you're going to kill them all I'd say they are here to stay.
Besides, even if you did get rid of IS a new terror group would just open up and so in my eyes there's no point in fighting them, just get those Christian minorities to safety and leave the terrorists to it, clearly all of these Middle Eastern countries can't get their shit together to fight them off as they say they 'want to do' and so they need to pay the price for it, it's their inability to control terrorists in their own countries that means the West has to get involved, and every time the West get involved the terrorists set their eyes upon us, I'm aware if left to it they'd just grow bigger and more powerful, but maybe that's what needs to happen in order for people in these countries to wake up, countries like the United Arab Emirates seem fine being extremely rich and spending all their money on giant architectural projects which won't be used for anything all the while they have a tiny uncapable military force and cry to the West everytime their neighbours get out of control, it's about time they fix shit for themselves instead of dragging us into their problems, maybe they should go ask the UAE and all their money for some support, and if they refuse to help, fine, the terrorists will soon move into their country aswell.

I don't think we can do that with this group. When Al-Qaeda doesn't want to be associated to a group because they are too extremist then there's an issue. They mustn't be allowed to establish a full blown country with their own armed forces and more advanced weaponry, we have to crush them now while they are relatively weak.

Al-Qaeda is just trying to fix their image after years of terrorising both the West and their own countries, responsible for 9/11 and yet they still exist today, both are as bad as each other, but why does it mean we have to deal with them instead of the countries that they trying to take over?

Because Al-Qaeda was a project by the west.... The U.S to be more precise. Look up Tim Osman (http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/binladen_cia.html). ( Not sure of Tim Osman, but sure as hell that Al-Qaeda was funded by the U.S to fight for them back then. )
ISIS... Was part of Al-Qaeda(Look it up "Daech")... Until they became "independent" this year so yeah.. This was created by the U.S and god knows who sided with them on it. Come clean your shit pl0x.

Ah yes I remember hearing about the US funding Al-Qaeda, but it doesn't change the fact that they have terrorised the West for years and are now trying to restore their image, why would Al-Qaeda want to support IS after they split from them? That would be like the UK helping Scotland prosper if they get independence, you can't have the best of both worlds, and if you split from something you once contributed to, making it worse, don't expect support from them.
-
And I have to say it, typical Middle Eastern blaming the US for everything..

Who said Al-Qaeda wants to help them? The point is, ISIS was part of Al-Qaeda and Al-Qaeda was made by the U.S Government..... Do you get it now or?..
And I have to say it, typical Middle Eastern blaming the US for everything..
Lmao.. Yes we should totally blame ourselves for an organisation that was funded by the U.S and created by it for its own benefits and profits LOOL. I don't care if it was long ago. Every problem that occurs in the middle east is caused by the f**king west, wake up bro. Our Politicians are nothing but puppets that are controlled by the west. You seem to lack knowledge when it comes to politics... I swear.... Who the hell do you think benefits from all of this? An other major reason for the west to invade the whole middle east. Yes I'm sure the U.S government is so fed up with us huh (Oh shit... Middle east again.. God damn it)... LOL. I can't wait for someone to burst that bubble that's surrounding you and help you open your eyes Mikal... I'll be there to clap.
Oh and please... You cannot resemble Al-Qaeda's actions to what the U.S government have done here.. The Iraqi war is one major bullshit. Such a war won't just slip by, countless numbers of innocents have died for your precious "oil".
Also ... Read the following: (Firstly educate yourself on Edward Snowden (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Snowden#Morales_plane_incident))
How come ISIS appeared out of the blue? (http://www.infowars.com/nsa-doc-reveals-isis-leader-al-baghdadi-is-u-s-british-and-israeli-intelligence-asset/)
Documents show al-Baghdadi trained by MOSSAD (http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/08/23/376292/isils-baghdadi-trained-by-mossad/)(an interview with Edward Corrigan, a human rights attorney, from Ontario, about the irony of American airstrikes on ISIL militants in Iraq, an entity created and supported by the US itself. )
The original foundation is simply from British intelligence. According to documents supposedly released by Edward Snowden, Abu al-Baghdadi who is supposed to be the head of ISIL, he was trained by the MOSSAD for a year and may in fact be a MOSSAD agent.
ISIS Leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi Trained by Israeli Mossad, NSA Documents Reveal (http://www.globalresearch.ca/isis-leader-abu-bakr-al-baghdadi-trained-by-israeli-mossad-nsa-documents-reveal/5391593)
And there's way more websites to come.. (7+)
Notice how each website claims that Edward did reveal documents concerning Baghdadi and such? Hell this shit is scary huh... There's no solid evidence to back this up.. That Edward did leak this.. But again, Edward did not deny this yet. It sure is worth a discussion so thought of bringing it up. ( Also makes perfect sense. )

ISIS is practically Al-Qaeda. Have you even hear anything related to Al-Qaeda nowadays? They're just spinning up more bullshit to give a reason to 'fight' them.
Please, for the love of fucking god, I do NOT want United States to get involved in the Middle East again, I want them to stay the fuck out of it. I've had it with the Middle East problems for the past decade.
Also, you're right about Al-Qaeda being a US Government project during the 80s against USSR in Afghanistan. I'm not going to dispute that, I'm not a fan of US Government's shady practices during the Cold War, especially with CIA involved.
btw, Corey. Mikael is British, not American. Direct it toward me, thanks.

Al-Qaeda created by the US clearly got out of hand and now they have off spring groups running wild, but how about you point the finger at your governments who after all these years have failed to control the problem and instead seem to help it spread by supplying these terrorist groups with weaponry and such via corrupt officials, the Middle East has got to be, without a doubt one of the most corrupt places on the planet, but you don't seem to care as you can just point your finger at the West everytime something bad happens, why not look to your governments to get off their arses and do something instead of saying "Hey West, come fix a problem which is no longer yours" - Fix it yourselves.

It's not just the US that is constantly dragged into the Middle East though, after the recent NATO gathering the UK has now decided to get involved 'militarily' to help defeat IS, I too am fed up with my own country going into things that shouldn't have anything to do with us, though I do think countries should help to save the Christian minorities from mass slaughter, that should be it, if support to get rid of IS is so big in the Middle East why is the West being involved? It's about time Middle Eastern countries get up off their arses and do something instead of having us spend our money to get rid of their problems.
-

Yeah I know, he's from Wales. When I type " you " or " your " in a reply to him, I'm sometimes referring to the west not only the U.S government. Even so, why would I direct it toward you anyway, it's your government not you.
-
why would I direct it toward you anyway, it's your government not you.
Well, because sometimes people are responsible for the governments which they vote into power?

Not entirely. Never trust Politicians, they could beckon to you and agree with whatever problems you want fixed & promises to fix it in order to get your vote, and in turn not do their fucking jobs.

The amount of parties that have been voted into power in the UK and screwed the whole country over, by sometimes I meant 'rarely'. :P

I would actually blame the UK on most of the happening in the middle east and not the US

Feel free to blame me, I don't actually disagree with alot of the things the British government does, but I guess Middle Easterns can rest happily knowing that the UK is coming to an end.

Trust me, you're the last thing we care about hahaha.
Al-Qaeda created by the US clearly got out of hand and now they have off spring groups running wild, but how about you point the finger at your governments who after all these years have failed to control . . .
Lol fuck my government... As I've said before the Arab governments are all controlled by the west.
help it spread by supplying these terrorist groups with weaponry and such via corrupt officials, the Middle East has got to be, without a doubt one of the most corrupt places on the planet.
More bullshit, evidence please? Because I sure as hell recall that your government and the U.S ( + France ) have been supplying the rebels in Syria against Assad... Guess what? These (ISIS) were part of the "rebels" lmaoooo.
Oh and funny thing is... You, yourself, were with the rebels to take over ( When the whole U.S to send missiles toward Syria blew ). ISIS is the same rebels you were talking about... Just like your government, ya'll support it for your own good then you go against it to "act" as if you're the hero who saved the day but secretly... You're just devouring our own goody goods.
Why not look to your governments to get off their arses and do something instead of saying "Hey West, come fix a problem which is no longer yours" - Fix it yourselves.
Because uhh... "Our governments" only do what your government tells it to do hun? Shit... Man you really think your government is so sad they're coming to the middle east? LOL I swear... Mikal educate yourself on politics please ... Like ayyyy'sap. Then come back. Try to find yourself some free time during your day and think about the following:
- How the hell did ISIS go from nothing but a bunch of "rebels" to conquering some lands and building their own country?
Before saying WE made them strong.. Uh.. What does that benefit us? Lmao.. How do we? ( The middle east ) benefit from supplying a bunch of ignorants with weapons? Lol.... Common fucking sense.. Only the west gains from it...
... Bloody hell.... :gand:

They are lucky I'm not in a position to launch nukes, hearing that they beheaded a British charity worker on video after beheading 2 US journalists the same way and now threatening to behead another Brit, it makes me so angry.

His wife if I'm correct, he's still British though.
Just to think he's over there doing charity work actually trying to help middle eastern countries, and some complete and utter coward takes him hostage before beheading him on camera, and this coward would claim to be helping the middle east more than the charity worker he just murdered.

So? He was British and so their actions should be taken as an act of hostility towards the whole of the United Kingdom. They've got to be stopped before they can spread out.
