Well, all is fine, but when i exit SA:MP Client (not the game) i get 1000's of error messages and i have to end the process in task manager to get them to stop.
What do i have to do?
i forgot how i fixed it.

Don't fix it. :D

You are using Vista right ? I have the same problem.
-
It happens exactly the same with VC:MP.
And they are more than 1000, they just keep pooping-up.
use ctrl+alt+delete to close it.
But can you guys connect, cause in my school I can't, and I'm having some probs connecting the laptop to my cribs net.
-
Ctrl Alt Delete - then end sa-mp.exe , happens to all vista users ;)
-
Use XP instead of Vista. Voilá!

Vista is better graficaly, like you can see miniatures of the minimized windows just passing the mouse over the taskbar button, that very handy. And in ophtoshop is great cause window frames are transparent.
-
Use the task manager and close the samp.exe under processes.
-
Oh ok, well thats what i do anyways, Well thanks guys :P
:ps: i like Vista better than XP ( so far )

But can you play?
I can't play neither multiplayer GTA, it must be the school filters.
-
if your at school, its most likely the Proxy's
Try it when you get home, if so, then yep.
ALSO, goto your GTA .exe ( VC/SA ) right click the .exe, click 'compatibilty' then set it to Windows 98/me config :)

There aren't any servers. I didn't even got to the compatibility issues
But it must be because of that other topic about reception.
-
hayden.. Try Reinstalling SAMP.. :)..
-
I had the same problem but i have the solution ;)
You can create a workaround around this:
download a command-line process tool like process.exe (freeware, downloadable here) and create a shortcut you place on your desktop with the following command:
C:\Windows\System32\Process.exe -k samp.exe
note: if you use a different command-line process tool you might want to change the executable name and option.
Anyway, click this shortcut on your desktop if you want to close sa-mp , and you will not be spammed by the million of window errors.

Got it, i got a sulotions guys. Both for SAMP and VCMP.
Change the compatibility to windows 98 / me.
It will work fine.
:ps: Keep the SA compatibility to XP or you'll loose all saved games.
-
You can download a fix for this i had it also when I first opened SAMP (on XP) but I cant find it anymore tell me WHAT the error message is EXACTLY I can find it then .

PIMP That is ONE fix but the one I used doesnt change compatability and AND you dont loose savefiles if you make a mestake
Anyway has hayden told it fixed the problem for him ? NO so dont act like an ass
-
You have to change compatibility anyway cause it's in Vista.
And you only loose the save files while playing it with the comaptibility to 98, once you get it to XP again, they will be playable again(no data loosing)
And this way, no additional trash programs needed.
