Experts are divided over whether Apple should respond to claims that its new iPhone 6 handsets are prone to becoming bent when carried in trouser pockets.

I wonder what is causing this but whatever it is Apple aren't going to get a good image from this.

The case is made out of aluminium which can be easily deformed even on room temperature.

Android > Apple

Don't get me wrong, I like apple but their products are over-rated, over-priced and limited. Also, I hate the way they trick the whole world to buy a new one every year. In my opinion, the iPhone 4S can still go on for another 2 years (from today) before you really need an upgrade. However, the hardware, design and the simplicity is what I like about apple especially the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and 5S.

I see. Well if I had brought one of these phones and this happened then I'd want my money back.

Ever since the iPhone 4 Apple have not made any drastic changes to the device visually. The iPhone 6 and 6 plus are just enlarged iPhone 4s with a few more features.

Critics put it down to people keeping the phone in their pockets, well where the hell else are you supposed to keep it?

This is indeed a design flaw in the iPhone 6 plus, but I am sure Apple will come up with an excuse like "Oh it was part of the design feature" or something.

Do not doubt the ability and manipulation of Apple's marketing and PR teams. People actually buy the iPhone.. shows how good their teams are.

Or one of those stupid neck phone straps that allow pick pockets to easily see what phone you have and yank it off your neck without having to beat you up. D:

So true :D

When they first released iPhone in 2007 the claim was that they reinvented the phone. I guess now they reinvent how you carry it in your pocket as well.

Yes, every iphone user now has to wear the iphone on a neck strap, and if the US Govt has anything to do with it, you also have to have it turned on 24/7 so that the camera can see what's around you.

xbox one style

I had the HTC one for over a year, never bent, never broke, dropped it, had it in all my pockets, slept on it, and so much more to the thing.
