Title: My client is crashing more than it did a week ago!

I haven't made any big changes to my system, or installed any mods except the LCPD mod, but for some reason I can't get my client to run for more than five minutes without crashing. Just today I've had two crashes on separate occasions before I could even log in! Any hints, tips, or other help would be appreciated.

What kind of Mod is that LCPD mod you talking about? if its like a big modification then its better to use it , otherwise try to defrag your pc...

That mod caused a lot of problems for me too , you can try removing it , if it still doesn't work , try re-installing your game :)

LCPDFR shouldn't interfer in any way with your IV:MP. I had it till a week ago , last version of LCPDFR and it was working good SP & IV:MP.

Did you install any other mod with LCPDFR ?

Do you have a client crash or the game crashes with the window: GTA IV Stopped working ?


I would suggest you to go in IV:MP folder and delete any crash file (Just to clean a bit the folder) and remove all your clientscripts. The script will re-download once you connect the server.

Crash dumps cleared out, single client script deleted, but I'm not sure how to uninstall the LCPD mod (no obvious script files). Thanks!

Go in the panel and uninstall it or to main folder of GTA IV , you should find an uninstall exe for LCPDFR.

I would like to correct myself and also share my experience.

This issue may be a server related one , so not must be related to game itself , i have experienced same problem of Maxaxle right now starting from 21:55 (not sure about minutes). I had 3 - 4 crashes in rounds of 5 mins.

Also other players noticed this , if anyone else is having this issue is invited to notify here.
This may be a temporary problem , i may remember wrong but we had similiar problems in past and it fixed itself.
If someone with more knowledge knows please let us notice :)

PS: I was on playing fine this evening around 16 , no issues.
