Title: Java...
Post by: Archie on October 10, 2014, 12:04:26 am
Hello guys.

I'm back again with a problem that is related with Java. I get that message when I try to run "Minecraft.exe". I don't know how to fix it and requesting help from you to teach a way to solve my problem. And yes, my Java is up to date.

Would be appreciated if you could help me with this, thanks.

I would suggest uninstalling Java completely, running a check on their website for older versions and also removing them, and reinstalling the latest copy. Then get the latest Minecraft version executable. Sometimes Java likes to install over itself and leave remnants of old files behind for "compatibility" reasons without ever telling you.

I have uninstalled Java successfully and searched for the latest version on Java in its website. Have tried to download and install it. During the installation, that screen appeared again:

I clicked "OK" and it says "Java has been successfully installed to your PC.":

Yes, I have original and latest version of Minecraft Launcher.
Waiting for more suggestions.

Uh, I was installing 32-bit version of Java, whereas, my PC is 64-bit. Downloaded and installed 64-bit version of Java, now it works jelly.

Problem solved, thanks for the recommendation SugarD.
