The server will be down around 18:40 GMT on October 20 to migrate the server from its temporary host in Canada to a more permanent host in Amsterdam. This should also reduce the average latency of players and limit connection issues within Europe. The transition should take no more than ten minutes.

Once the switch is made, the temporary server will be modified to be unjoinable and will show the details for the new server in the server name. All player data will be transferred at the time of transition so no data will be lost upon shutdown.

Transfer failed due to a server misconfiguration causing significant and consistent ping spikes. Another attempt will be made later in the day.

The transition to the new server has been completed successfully. The server is now located on 178.62.228.75:5192 in the Netherlands and should be up for at least the next 22 months. All data should be intact, and the Canadian server will remain up as a fallback and redirect.
