Title: New PC!!
Post by: VMNT on December 12, 2007, 05:38:11 pm
I would have posted it earlier, but I was on my warning lol.

Specs;
Antec NSK4480 tower
Intel core 2 duo E4500 (2.2GHz)
GeForce 7300 GS 256MB
4GB RAM
500GB HDD
XP professional

And some other stuff that I'm not too sure of, but it owns, super fast :D

Just got to get GTA installed on it, then I'm on my way :D

Unfortunately, I'm still using a 19" white CRT monitor  :wow: I know, shocking lol. But that will change soon enough.

D.... I'll let you guess my name

4GB Ram? why would you need all that?
It would have been better if you got 2GB Ram and spent the extra money on a E6300.
But it looks a great build, alot better than mine anyways.

Core 2 duo.. ok good choice...

Dont go with win XP, go with vista(grrrr i hate it)
or go with WinXP 64bit

32 bit XP will only see 3.2 GB of your ram its a 32bit Win limmit...

Well, I already bought it, and got it a couple of days ago...

my XP seems to recognise 3.5 GB of RAM

And from what I have heard, the advantages of 64bit XP are not worth the disadvantages of 32bit.

But, I am happy with it, it is super fast.. It pwns the ole' win 98 SE machine
