Okay so, I need a software that can get all the contacts (and any other data that can't be accessed through file explorer) from a phone to a PC. I want to be able to edit all the contacts, delete, add, sort on the PC and then replace the contact list back to the phone after reseting the phone.
The phones are android and symbian.

From what I understand, you want to transfer your contacts to a new phone.
If your contacts are on your phone, simply use the 'export to SIM card' feature.

No. He wants to edit his contacts on a PC, then update it on phone.
Sometimes the software that comes with the phone can do this. Not sure about your phone in particular though.

What Android and Symbian version? Or which phones you have?

The Android verion is either Android 4.1 or 4.2. The Symbian is the Nokia C3-00

If you have an Android phone, it should already be syncing the contacts to your Google account, provided that you are logged into it.

Easiest way would be Google Contacts indeed. You can edit them online at http://google.com/contacts
Android does not sync automatically with Google, unless you have marked that option.
As for Symbian, you will need to connect to a Wi-Fi and try following this guide http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Symbian-Devices/Synchronise-your-contact-with-gmail/td-p/818505
C3-00 seems to be using Symbian S40, which does not seem to have a lot of featurs for such synchronization. I will look for more options, another way would probably be manually importing/exporting the contacts.

Well I will try the syncing the android first, thanks.
