What the hell happened?
Like, seriously?
Not so long ago we were all whining that the server is constantly down and we can't play, but now 95 percent of the time the server is empty even though it's now as stable as it has never been. The only people that have been active lately are very few EAF and DC folks and the VCPD. Kind of funny when you think about it that VCPD not so long ago has been bashed for being inactive, yet now we're the ones who still show some activity in the server with the recent events that Legend took the initiative to organise. Guys, don't you miss it? Don't you miss the times when server had 30+ players at times? Don't you miss the times when quality roleplay was produced? Don't you miss the times with all these chases, roleplays that smuggling has provided? At the moment, VCPD is as active as ever. We got people willing to hop in game 24/7, such as myself, Luca, DaniGold, Marco, Gianni, Bass, Stormeus when he's not busy, there are constant reformations and improvements going inside the VCPD as we speak, yet we have no-one to roleplay with. Thanks very few folks from DC and EAF that have hopped in game during our operations and provided us with some quality roleplays, chases, and ofcourse some combat so we don't get rusty. But we have to revive the server. We must not only return all these people that have disappeared somewhere back into the game, but we must also gather a new player base. Back in the golden days of 2010 (that's golden days for VCMP for me, because that's when I joined, don't start telling me "well 2007 was that and 2009 was that), new players joined on a daily base. I think that we should go on a community wide (both argo and VCMP) recruitment ride to get new, initiative people in to the server. We need more bussinesses, gangs (so EAF and DC can have some competition, and ofcourse, active officers). Guys.. Come on.. In the past few days, the VCPD has pulled off some great roleplay, it's time for you to show activity now:

On a serious note, the host is stable but the server certainly isn't. Mostly people are waiting for the 0.4 client and new scripts, and it goes along with the server pretty much always being low on population during this time of year.
Just hang on, it'll get better :)
