Title: F.B.I Transparency Report

FROM: The Desk of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Director
SUBJECT: Transparency and the new F.B.I

Over the next couple of the days the F.B.I will transition into a new era; we are restructuring the entire agency with a new vision and a new operational structure that is more appropriately designed for our size. Our new vision will focus more on case efforts and prosecution rather than work best left to the S.A.P.D. In effort to better connect with the public we will also make available more information in a transparent manner. This includes all agent regulations, operational structure and command, and the exact nature of the application process.

Since our forums are down there are some important announcements that have been missed. I'll cover those as well. The first major announcement is that of a new F.B.I director, myself, to replace former Director [Rstar]Hidduh. In addition [WS]Mikro has been appointed Deputy Director and Bass has been appointed Assistant Director.

You can expect the regulations and other information to be presented over the next few days as we continue to progress through this transition. We will also work to develop a method for you, the public, to report agents for breaching regulations to our reformed Internal Affairs to review.

Kind Regards,
Theodore Rosso
San Andreas F.B.I Director

Can you tell us more about Area 51 and the rumor that the FBI is breeding super-sheep in there?

I regret to inform you but such a location does not exist nor does this rumor.

When will the press conference take place?

There is currently no in-game conference planned; all of the transparency information will be released on this thread.

SUBJECT: Regulations dump part 1 of 3
Quote
[#1] Duty regulations

Before heading on duty you must do the following things:
  • Check if your HP bar is full
  • Make sure you are in the FBI CB ([REDACTED])

After completing these checks you may head on duty at any FBI-duty point which are located inside the locker rooms of each FBI HQ.

The standard equipment you receive upon going on duty is:
  • [REDACTED] Pistol rounds
  • [REDACTED] Pepper-spray
  • [REDACTED] SMG-MP5 rounds
  • Baseball bat (when picking an UC skin)

    Required extra equipment:
  • Armour - every agent is obligated to have full armour at any time when on official duty. When you are not in a situation and don't have full armour, you should grab a new vest.

It is recommended to equip an additional amount of pepper-spray and SMG as it runs out quite rapidly.

After completing these steps you report yourself 10-8 on the radio.

Per administrative order [AO-2015-003] F.B.I agents are now strictly prohibited from pursing suspects, regardless of committed crime, without direct request from the S.A.P.D. C30, Code purples, 207s, and 211 calls do justify direct requests. Those accused of acts of terrorism are also an exemption.

You may report an agent to Internal Affairs for committing this act via our official website.

Hi,

I am a serving officer and I've witnessed instances where FBI units are available yet fail to respond to officers in need of assistance where in which their lives are in direct threat (Code 30's).

I was told by an FBI Agent that they needed a clear request of specific FBI assistance (such as "FBI we need you for a C30") and I think this is just plain silly and verges on the realms of ILLEGAL.

With the utmost respect...

Kind Regards,
Monte Montague.

Afternoon,

To clear up the specific situation you are referring to, at the time of your request I was the only on-duty Agent and was occupied in the city of Las Venturas. Therefor I asked twice if FBI specifically was required for this situation. Since in that case I will need to go to a Headquarter, change clothes and then respond, by that time a situation has usually dispersed.

I hope this answers your question.

I'm unaware of any situations that have occurred today. But as mentioned above, I was not even remotely close to the situation at hand. Beside that, it is not a matter of being 'bothered' to change, it's an obligation.

I will leave the rest of this matter up to command.
