Hey guys, I'm having problem with my laptop. It got blue screen when crashed while playing dota 2. So I turn it on and it won't boot up. It just shows black screen after the hp logo. I can't even the recovery mode on boot. After the HP logo. It will shows windows boot option for a quick second. Only 2 options,Windows 7 or Symantec. If windows 7 is selected it will just give black screen. If symantec is chosen. It will onlu have the mouse pointer and black screen. I can access boot from menu, but I really don't want to install windows again. So if anyone could help me to access the recovery. I'll be grateful.

Try holding F5 while starting.

Try holding F5 while starting.
It'll bring up windows boot manager. Same thing, black screen for windows 7.
I'm using HP Pavillion DM3 by the way.

Load up Windows and then hit F8 repeatedly and see if that will allow you to access the alternate boot modes. If you can, see if Safe Mode will load up.

When your computer powers on, from that point keep tapping F8 until Advanced Boot Options Screen pop up, then select "Repair Your Computer". From there you will need to load your windows 7 and select "System Repair" and if they doesn't work try System Restore. If all else fails, find another computer to make a bootable windows 7, nowadays you can reinstall windows from just a USB stick.

I managed to enter repair your computer. So I selected start up repair. When it done. It restart. But now it will boot in hp logo over and over again. I can't access startup pause. When I repeatly pressing f11 or esc. It will give beeping sound. I can only access to system diagnostic if I remove my HDD. So if I'm going to reinstall windows or install newer windows how can I access it if it keep rejecting me from accessing the pausw startup?

You are stuck in a startup loop, which can have many causes.
Does anything come up after the HP logo before it restarts again?
-
Nope.

Try pressing TAB or ESC.
If this does nothing you may need to look up the manufacture for your motherboard on resetting your BIOS.

Another solution could be:
Keep tapping F8 (so advanced menu comes up) and try booting in last known good configuration. If a windows update etc has corrupted something this often fixes it!
