A contract killing is a form of murder, in which one party hires another party to kill a target individual or group of people. It involves an illegal agreement between two or more parties in which one party agrees to kill the target in exchange for some form of payment, monetary or otherwise. Either party may be a person, group, or an organization.

ACK, Inc. was the name the press gave to organized crime groups in the 2013 that acted as the "enforcement arm" of the Italian Mafia.
The early organized crime groups in Los Santos and elsewhere, the groups were composed of largely Swede-American and Italian-American gangsters from the Ocean Docks, East Los Santos, and Verdant Bluffs.
ACK, Inc. was believed to be responsible for between 400 and 1,000 contract killings each year.
