We are seeking the possibility of taking new additions to the webmaster team. Please read this ENTIRE post before considering submitting an application. If you don't know the duties expected of a webmaster then you are already excluded from the pool we are looking for. Do note that applications are NOT yet officially open. The application here is only letting us know who is interested. There will definitely be a follow up with more questions.

Before applying, ask yourself the following questions:
-> Do I have prior experience managing and administrating SMF-based forums?
---> Do I have knowledge of SMF permission systems?
---> Do I have knowledge of SMF security protocols and operation?
---> Do I have knowledge of SMF boards and topic structure / functions?
-> Do I have prior experience with programming in PHP?
---> Do I have knowledge of MySQL?
---> Do I have knowledge of the MVC-based style of SMF's programming structure?
-> Do I have prior experience with programming in JavaScript?
-> Do I have prior experience with the concepts of HTML and CSS?

If you answered yes to all of these questions, consider the following; if not we will not consider you.
-> Have I created a negative image of myself by my behavior on the forums or other areas of the community?
-> Have I been banned from any server, for any reason, valid or not, within the last year?
---> Have I been community banned within the last year?
-> Am I currently banned from any server or service of Argonath?
-> Have I received a forum warning within the last year?
If you answered yes to ANY of these questions, you will not be considered. Otherwise, continue reading.
In the past the process of recruitment of new webmasters was done very sloppy and person(s) without the appropriate ability got tasked with more responsibility than they could handle. We will not permit this mistake to be made again as we need the forums to be functional and a place of open dialog.
The entire active community leadership (Division Leaders and Community Leadership) team will be tasked with providing input on recruitment of the webmaster team. The community leadership also oversees and manages the webmaster team directly. You will report directly to community leadership and the owner as a webmaster. You will be subject to a non-disclosure agreement.
You will be tested in various fields extensively. Any failure of these tests may discredit your application and terminate consideration for the position. You will need to be able to convince us beyond any reasonably doubt that you can preform the duty of webmaster.
