hi - i got a suggestion, it would be cool to remove the player blips on map inside interiors, so u wont find them so easily. and also to be able to carry guns inside interiors.

Weapons inside: /sturm for cops, to find people in houses
Blips: impossible without disabling it for the rest of the game

The problem is that although some situations cater for internal Weapons, many do not. Someone could just go into a Club somewhere, (and not in a Custom Interior, meaning that their name would be hidden behind a wall) and knife somebody without anyone even seeing. Although that would be cool sometimes (if the Victim isn't too hindered by their death ;)) most times it would just be griefing.

i like the Weps inside idea but it should be a purchaseable feature to allow weapons inside or vice versa

Atleast 2~10 Guards to protect anyone for possible attack (Cadets or SWAT for example)

Yeah I also agree with Dave a little bit, We have enough problems with people dming on the streets.....what if you went to jail and there was a cop sitting there near the cell, you could shoot the cop= not very good real life situation.

We were thinking about this idea...
Due to experience with the MTA VC server, allowing weapons in interiors can lead to:
- Total deathmatch on parties
- Shooting people during roleplay (license/passports in City Hall, PDs)...
- Annoy cops more (shooting cops in Police Departments, donuts shops)...
- and the main - abusing /exit during fight...
I was not against this feature from the beginning (wanted to add some CS element) but cannot also give even 50% insurance it will not be abused like I said...

Hmm. Then it would be good - if you would disallow weapons in small interiors and allow weapons inside big interiors, like the bank/madd doggs interior/hotel..

- I think the /exit thing i solvable, if you could only be able to /exit from the door, and not in whole interior. it would increase rp aswell.

Leave City Hall, Police PDs and other governmental businesses & houses with the protection.
Others, You could allow...

Yea, would be cool with weapons inside houses and bizz ... but the problem is DMer's, but you could also have an like, /kick [ID] So you can kick possible dmers

Dunno how about you, but I think that they should give you a right to bear weapons. For example, some GOOD cops should have an ability to use weapons in interiors. But others - no.

I didn't like the way I built one idea for it in my head...
So I basically re-constructed it.
There are only like 5 interior types that You'll need to keep weapon free, yeah?
You get the players weapon data, save it into a file & Reset the players weapon
When the player exits the interior, he will get the weapons restored from the file.
In case it is a house interior, every house owner could set - Weapons allowed or not. Doesn't seem like the greatest RP, but that would be protection against the 'DMing' in houses. You could take this as a 'security system' update for Your house that You can buy, when it is needed. Would cost like $5.000 or something at that range.
Actually, at my real point - I would say that the idea to DIS-AllowInteriorWeapons isn't good RP.
What would bank robbers do?

guns inside interoir: great idea, although as aragorn said, it may spoil parties and RP
blips: as xcasio said, impossible, and it is ;)

I do not think exit should be placed at the door as in 0.2.1, since there are a lot of tiny area bugs with interiors sometimes, especially with spawning in a wall in a custom interior etc.
Also, if you enter a building and fall (it happens sometimes) you're screwed ;)

Happened to me once when I volounteered to go and negotiate with a suspect.

I believe I once suggested that the owner of a house or business could choose whether to allow guns inside his/her property, what do people think about that?
I was thinking that (maybe, I don't know) an admin would set it - along with the house price and everything upon setup of the marker. That way, a Mafia boss could choose to have weapons allowed, but a retired character would not. I'm not sure, to be honest. :D

i would like to see the blips removed off radar completely, except when you get /su. BUT as casio stated, impossible. i dont think it would be bad to completely remove the blips but then catching criminals would be damned near impossible for the cops. unless people start to use /area and actually learn the map :o
