Statement:

Good day Argonath. I am Earl Montgomery. I am here to fight to become your mayor. Thank you for taking your time to read this statement and thank you for considering me to be your next mayor of Los Santos. I am humbled by your confidence that I will be able to lead and represent you as the mayor of Los Santos. Since my arrival to Los Santos, I have been a passionate advocate for the advancement of our city. I want our city Los Santos to prosper and become the greatest city in the state of San Andreas.

I have always taken a helping hand when it came to helping the needy. When there was a clothing shortage in the lower income family homes due to multiple home robberies of Idlewood and Ganton, I crafted the petition to demand clothing for the families and better oversight from local law enforcement. It was unacceptable for the health of low income families to suffer just because they did not have the monetary means of purchasing clothing. I even donated clothing from my Ganton Binco to the low income families.

As your newly elected mayor, I promise to take into account each of your interests and your voices on the many issues we will face during the upcoming year. In 2015, as your mayor I will fight to:
- Reduce taxation on food purchases
- Loosen tensions between families
- Decrease gang presence in the Idlewood & Ganton areas

"Children are our future." It is a phrase we hear often, but it is often used without a full understanding of the implications. "Children are our future" means that children (new players) are our priority. Right now we have many children immigrating to Los Santos, but not enough. I will fight to increase children count in our city.

If elected, I will fight for justice, transparency, and equality for our citizen body. I will create a channel of citizen representation on our city's Citizen Band radio, which will increase communication between the citizens and your public servant, me.

Along with the CB radio, I will aim to update you, the citizens on a bi-weekly basis via a public statement called the "Bi-weekly Address" which will communicate my offices accomplishments of the previous two weeks to the public.

If you elect me as your public servant, I will serve this city and the needs of its people. Those needs will change over time, but right now, as of today, the top priority is reduction of taxation on food purchases, decreasing gang activity in the low income areas of our town, loosening tensions between families and increasing children count.

My record exemplifies passionate, self-driven advocacy on behalf of all of us. I care about your interests and your voice. I care about making sure city opportunities are as equally distributed as possible for each and every one of you. Come share your ideas, and I will make them happen.

Thank you for your questions. Do note that this was only a preliminary message announcing my run in the mayoral elections. These are very important questions that need to and will be addressed below. My general agenda is to revive the economy; provide affordable, accessible food to all; strength our citizens security in low income areas; and define a clear path towards tackling the increasing crime rate in Los Santos.

Economic policy

We should be asking ourselves what mix of policies will lead to a dynamic free market and widespread economic security, entrepreneurial innovation and upward mobility. As mayor, I will cut taxes on all food purchases across the city. I also work towards influencing the federal government on increasing funding and stimulative measures (less taxes more paydays).

Energy policy

I will work with the energy industry towards developing better miles per gallon on all vehicles. Moving towards better fuel consumption is about our security. It's also about our economy. And it's about the future of our city.

I like to call my foreign policy "The Montgomery Doctrine." I seek to create a better relationship with San Fierro and Las Venturas and continuing free LEGAL immigration to and from the cities. I plan to work with law enforcement towards increasing surveillance in low income areas as well as all areas of Los Santos. These measures will decrease gang and crime family activity.

Social policy

As mayor I will uphold and defend the Constitution. No changes shall be made to the policies and state laws regarding drugs and weapons.

Argonath Road Administration is an official organization of Argonath which is responsible for maintaining, controlling, improving and regulating Argonath's road network. I will work towards increasing funding and projects for Argonath Road Administration and work with them towards tackling congestion, managing traffic and improving our roads and highways.

Small businesses will need to make good use of their funding and stimulative measures by spending it on advertisements that will attract customers and hiring smart talented employees that will bring their own ideas to the business which will help those businesses grow.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Regarding race, I am not of Asian descent. Seeking to put an end to persistent rumors that I was not born or lived in the United States of Argonath since birth, I have decided to release my original birth certificate and a document relating to my background. We do not have time for this kind of silliness and I hope that with the release of these documents these accusations are put to rest.

I received a letter from a family living in Verona Beach. They were your typical Los Santos family only a couple years ago living in Willowfield below the poverty line. Because of the introduction of trucking, the family was able to work hard and pick themselves up, sacrifice and strive for success. The family wrote "it is amazing what you can bounce back from when you have to." Los Santos, this families story is our story. You are the reason I am running for mayor. You are the people I was thinking of when I decided to run for mayor. It is your effort that is making this economy stronger. But there is still much to do. I will work towards decreasing taxes on food purchases so those who are struggling to make ends meet have less to worry about and can start saving up for their dream house, car or business. I will make sure the progress made so far won't be halted by the government because families like the one mentioned above still need our help.

We are at a time where jobs are growing at a fast rate. The unemployment rate is the lowest. There are endless jobs that still need filling in. No man dies because of hunger or poverty. The shadow of crisis has passed and the state of the union is strong. We have a booming economy where everyone is free to write their own story. We have an economy right now where not only a few people do spectacularly well but everyone who makes the effort. We still have much to do. We need to make sure everyone has a fair shot. Los Santos does best when everyone gets a fair shot. Everyone does their fair share. Everyone plays by the same set of rules. We don't just want everyone to share Los Santos' success but everyone to contribute to Los Santos' success. My plan can put hundreds of dollars back into everyones pocket by lowering taxation.

We need to have the best economy in all of San Andreas. A place where businesses will want to locate themselves and higher employees. Right now the majority of our roads are rated in less than good condition. Half of our bridges require significant repair or can't handle today's traffic. I will create jobs for Argonath Road Administration to fix those roads and bridges and bring businesses to the city of Los Santos. Lets get it done! We need to sell more Los Santos products in San Fierro and Las Venturas, not the other way around. If San Fierro and Las Venturas want to write the rules, we need to turn that around. We should be the ones writing the rules.

Now I've been seeing a lot of "street taxation" from certain local street and biker gangs demanding money from our companies and consumers. I will work with law enforcement to better protect our companies and consumers against these street and biker gangs. This will be a great challenge. But no challenge poses a greater threat to our economy than these street and biker gangs and Los Santos I promise to work towards making sure each and everyone of you and your money is safe. Some like to argue that a lot of African American's join gangs because of unfair treatment from law enforcement. But Los Santos, that is simply not true. We are not a white and black state but a United States of Argonath and I will work towards creating a better relationship between law enforcement and the black community. Los Santos is a melting pot of races and customs that need to work together and embrace each others values. These are real issues. And I will have to lift them up and not deny them or try to tamp them down. What we need to do is understand them and figure out how do we make more progress. And that can be done. That's a better politics. That's how we build trust. That's how we move forward. That's what the people of Los Santos want. And that's what they deserve.

Let me tell everyone a story about my upbringing. I myself was born into a lower middle class family. My father Eko Montgomery worked at a Sprunk factory. He was the son of Nicholas Montgomery, mayor of a small town named Crippen in northern Red County which you now know as Montgomery; named after his father, Lee Montgomery who was also mayor of Crippen. My mother Ann Dunham was a nurse at Crippen Memorial Hospital. As you can probably tell, our family did not make much. But we pulled through. My parents, God rest their souls, saved up enough money for me to attend college and make a career for myself. My grandfather and great grandfather always believed that citizens come first. He believed that putting money back in people pockets worked best. I will implement my grandfathers economic strategy for the town of Montgomery on Los Santos. Providing lower taxes for everyone so that everyone has an opportunity to strive towards their goals.

My only agenda is that I want to do what what I believe is best for Los Santos. If you share my broad vision I ask you to join me with the work at hand. If you disagree with parts of it, I hope you'll at least work with me where you do agree. And I commit to everyone that I will not only seek out your ideas but I will seek to work with you to make this city stronger. I want this city to reflect the truth. For all our blind spots and shortcomings, we are a people with the strength and generosity of spirit to bridge divides, to unite in common effort, and help our neighbors, whether down the street or across the city. I want our actions to tell every child (new player), in every neighborhood: your life matters, and we are as committed to improving your life chances as we are for our own kids.

I want future generations to know that we are a people who see our differences as a great gift, that we are a people who value the dignity and worth of every citizen -- man and woman, young and old, black and white, Latino and Asian, gay and straight, people with mental illness or physical disability. I want them to grow up in a city that shows the world what we still know to be true: that we are still more than a collection of blacks, Latinos, and whites; that we are the United States of Argonath.

I want them to grow up in a city where a young family like the one I mentioned above can sit down and write a letter to me with a story that warms up our hearts:

"It is amazing what you can bounce back from when you have to...we are a strong, tight-knit family who has made it through some very, very hard times."

Los Santos, we too are a strong, tight-knit family. We, too, have made it through some hard times. Years into this new era of RS5, we have picked ourselves up, dusted ourselves off, and begun again the work of remaking Los Santos. We've laid a new foundation. A brighter future is ours to write. Let's begin this new chapter -- together -- and let's start the work right now.

El Corona, Los Santos. -- Los Santos mayoral candidate Earl Montgomery, 61, was found shot dead today around 11:00 AM. The individual suffered two critical bullet wounds in the chest area subdued from AK47 rounds. The unknown shooters escaped from the scene and left the individual bleeding in his vehicle. EMS failed to revive him. Earl Montgomery was a man who put the people of Los Santos first and died serving them.

Because the mayor system will not be implemented anytime soon by the scripting team I have decided to end my campaign. Los Santos:- Our office correspondence received a phone call from an unknown number, the caller said he had parceled a courier to our office regarding the recent killing of Earl Montgomery, in El Corona today. After checking the parcel, it was found to contain an envelope with a letter in it. There was blood partially over the envelope and the whole letter was written in blood.

The letter read as-
We have killed Earl Montgomery, and we would do so to any mayor candidate in the future who would hold against our family. This serves as a message to all of them.
STEP BACK!! , before you even think of becoming the mayor of Los Santos. This is the punishment served to Earl Montgomery, who stood against us and threatened our family's and our ally's interests in the city.

After initial investigations by the LSPD, it was found that the blood was of Earl Montgomery and the call was traced to Verdant Bluff's but it failed to be traced wholly. The cops cancelled the upcoming Mayor Elections due to security reasons and tightened security on the road from SF to LS. It is rumored that the case is taken up by the FBI and would involve CIA too.
