Sorry gentlemen but I am not going to support Aragorn leaving.
In protest servers will be shut down until 19:00 tonight.
If you want Argonath to continue, leave a support note to get back Aragorn.

RON, i don't care what anyone else has said. This is not being said by me to make you stay or any stuff like that, this is honest, from me.


I think you are a really, really nice person. Although you are easily annoyed, you are laid back, nice, and generally an awesome guy. You accepted me as a moderator, you helped me during being a moderator, and you helped me end being a moderator and into being a full admin. You helped me as a cop, you taught me how to be a good cop, and you basically made me into a full ARPD member by teaching me all the weed fields, where to patrol, and even what routes to take.

You have been, hmm, a "Parent" to me on argonath..you taught me all the basics to argonath..helped me as i got older into argonath, and now i am an admin, you're still helping me..

RON, i owe you a lot, but do one favor for me..please, reconsider this shits..i would be nowhere on argonath without you..probably in some gutter, banned...

so is sauron - without aragorn, argonath is fucked..do not say "omg l0l ron c4n m4k3 h1s 0wn desisions", a lot of people think RON is over reacting..give him time, let him know how you honestly, HONESTLY, feel, not because you want the server back up, and maybe we have a bit of hope, that he will come back..he is the heart of our small community..heart goes, all dies.

Sauron I do not blame you. I think that people do not see that Aragorn is the most valuable guy to have on this servers.
But maybe I am wRONg. I want him to come back and continue to give his 'mushrooms' the fun they have.

Most of us have dedicated many many hours a week to this server and its community, I do not want to see such a great thing and all of yours and Gandalf's hard work be brought down so hard. If this community dies.....Many friendships that have developed ingame might die...Others will stay but some may not. Argonath is where it is because of the hard work you put in.....If Argonath and all your hard work was "crap" why do they keep coming back and asking for unbans? Because Argonath is Great. Aragorn you have done a fantastic job with this community many overs would have given up ages ago. But not you my friend you fought and fought through everything imaginable in an online world. For this I am sure everyone on Argonath is thankfull of. Please....Do not let it end like this. If you choose to leave Aragorn, I think many will be angry and very very dissapointed, How else can some of us escape reality in such a way that you have helped us to see? I come to Argonath when my parents yell and scream at me. Why? Because I know I can relie on people there for support and friendship. Also the script on the server that you and many many others produced is amazing. Please please do not leave and let it end like this Aragorn......

Ron, you are NOT a "shitty" guy. In fact, you mean a lot to me and you are a really nice guy. You showed me how to treat people on servers. I have developed as a player and flamed less everyday on argonath. In the end, I was chosen as the admin for mta. I would not have made it this far without your help, so please stay and let me develop futher as a good RP player.

Well, if he isn't, and the server is closing permanently because of that, I have no further interest in playing on it. That's just showing how much they care for the other players..

It developped very fast and it became a very strong server, would it be the same server now without you? No
You are such a big part of argonath that it would be very empty without you but nobody can force you to stay, but I think everybody will try to keep you, evidence: I couldn't post this because three new replies had been posted... (I had to change two in three)

They accuse you because they fear you, who are your enemies? Cheaters, Hackers, Flamers, Admins of the other RP servers...old admins and players of argonath who got banned. It should be a honour for you, they wouldn't fear you and flame you if they wouldn't think that you are a good administrator and you have built a wonderful community, without corruption and abuses. I play RPGs since 2002.. and i travelled in many servers of many games, but i never reached 8 months in a community, like im doing here in argonath. Do not trash all the time you spent on the scripts and especially on the players. There are a lot of good administrators in Argonath, but i think you are the main "Idol", the Helper, the hope, for all the new and the old players. So.. Come back, and keep up your good work for the community, don't let them win, they don't deserve it.

Guys, just ignore stiffler and Ylisa, your just as bad when you are getting pissed off at them and showing it on the forum.

Aragorn, no one hates you except people who do the wrong thing on our servers. You can tell this because of all the people replying already, its been just over an hour and this topic is up to pretty much 6 pages... I think that is a record on our forum. Thats how much we would like you to stay.

this server is the most popular and one HELL of a server, its freakin awsome you cant just "shut it down"
this server has created many friendships, clans (and some enimies) but i really dont understand this!

If you shut down the server, nearly all of these things will be lost
RON, to me your a great friend, you have made me laugh ALOT sometime over the past months of playing here, you cant leave!  :neutral:

remember Argonath is the most popular server in MTAVC your the main man too, without you it just wouldnt be complete...

I personally think that you can be the worse asshole ever when you are so smart and never answer. There is no server better then Argonath
All other crappy servers don't take you into this world of RPG
This server is a realistic one, if you are in roleplaying here, you feel like this is your real life,
This server is just a second home for people, a place where they can life their second life, maybe an online live,
This life on Argonath gives people other oppertunities, then they have in Real Life.

You are one of the most patient admins, giving everyone a fair chance to get back to Argonath when they are banned.

Ron, don't let them get you down, show them what you are worth, show them you are a real leader, show them you have the right to be RON, the 1337 that pwns every hacker/cheater and rulebreaker. Don't let them take you down.

You've helped everyone, maybe really active, but also passive. Everyone has his own opportunity to develop their selves here. Not everyone that joined the server knew what he had to do, patient as you are, you just explain it, You've probably done it over a million times,

Please consider coming back, I want you back, and I think most people want you to come back. Without you, the whole Argonath community falls in pieces.

I decided to get onto the forums today and then looked at the announcements. As soon as I saw this, I was shocked. Aragorn, as many others have said, you leaving the server would be like Argonath falling to pieces. Whoever it was that called you an abuser, you shouldn't listen to. He/she was wrong. You're the best admin on the server, and you keep Argonath strong with your admining. So please, reconsider leaving; the Argonath RPG community needs you.

Hey "bro", this server is my first RP server, i learned it here, i even became admin, and part of your CRASH team.
I loved this server, did my best, like all admins did, we helped you, to IMRPOVE your and your brothers server, to make it even better as it was, it is/was the best (RP) Server of sa-mp, and now, in a matter of hours, you suddenly resign..
To be honest, i think its not fair, to stop, so suddenly, is that the thank you we get for the many hours of playing on your server?
I really think you should reconsider, try it, make something out of it, because We are the best server!

I have never seen such a strong team of scripters, you are taking so much of your time to create us new scripts, events etc. You are a great person, come back bro Tenpenny ! Ron, you were a great guy and also I think you should stay a little longer.
Now, we cant stop you from going away because its your own decision. And we cant blame you for that because ALL you've done for us is just great...
And we've never really thought about the fact that you all do this for us or for fun. Because you get nothing in return and you dont get paid or anything.
So Ron, thanks for all you've done and ofcourse I hope you wont leave us...
And weither you leave or stay, I will understand both...

Reading through this whole topic It seems like a lot of the Argonath community like you.
You may or may not be the best roleplayer but that doesn't matter, you are part of this server you helped make it what it is today. This is the first server I have ever played in online gaming and have never left it, its great.

Be happy on what you have done for us, I was starting to enjoy rping in argonath a lot more recently with you and Gandalf being more active especially as cops that was cool and I got to rp with you as a cop which was really fun.

And I mean come on after yesterday Frank with Trixessss what parties will she go to now ? lol

I hope you and us as a community will resolve this and I hope to see you back on the server someday.

We've all had our trouble with him, or may have disagreed with someone, but it doesn't mean we all or most of us hate you and belive you an abuser... I myself was banned by you and insulted, but I still respect what ytou do... You have a WHOLe server which is in the top ranks of SA:MP and all other GTA games out there. I have heard some things about the reason of Aragorn leaving and if those are true I don't see a real reason to leave. If what I have heard is true then Aragorn you need to remember your human not a robot, you make mistakes some worse then others but still. Things can change you can change the server can change. Everyone has their mistakes and it isn't the end of the world. FFS Aragorn, you never give up that easy!!! I've known you since the start, and u would have never gave up back then! so whyn start now?! It's not about the flamers, the hackers or the DMers it's anbout the community and SA:MP, this is one of the best RPG servers out there, so don't just throw it away. Back when SA:MP closed, you were in that convo, you were gonna continue it and try get the developers to come back. This is the SAME THING. Don't give up, show them what your made of. If you give up so easily and so soon, you will look like you have become a rubbish admin and a big softy. I know for a fact, if you go Argonath WILL CONTINUE. There is a strong dev team and a huge community. But there will be a really big hole in it all. So please man. do not leave and give up on your dream of becoming the best RPG server out there!  ;)

Dude.. if you leave the server there seriously wouldn't be anything left, most players would leave maybe. Belive it or not, Argonath has a good amount of dedicated people who want to play on the server because of w/e reason.. One example of this would be when RockStars 3.0 came, or the "new scripts", within minutes of the server running the scrips it filled up to about 70/70 players, I've never seen that on any server before.. I think that shows how much people appreciate your work and enjoy the experience they get from being here, and want it to continue..

Of course i understand Legolas, i've had the same problems with a few of my servers.... And i agree with you, the start was the same, and as it seems to be, The Begining is the same as the End...... He could not be better, he was at his best 24/7 , ye there were some bad times , like when i got banned, but I never stopped liking Aragorn for what he dones, with the server, the ideas and the expasions to other games.

I agree, Ice. The people of Argonath don't just want the server to play on, they want Aragorn. As others have said, Aragorn is what Argonath is about. Without him, we'll surely fall, or at least come close.

I saw players on another servers(no names,no advertisings) which they were flaming Aragorn and talking shits about him and now i see them begging him to come back.Its not fare.So lets say Aragorn will come back.Everything will go back to normal.There will be a good period then after they will start again to talk shits about him .Then again Aragorn will resign ?No i dont think so..
There are some few players which they are his true friends.They want to see Ron back only Ron.
And i wont miss him...its my choice.I never had big moments to play with him...to know him better.So i express and say what i fell...

To tell you the truth, I have heard bad things from people about Aragorn. but NEVER have I had any problem with him, I think people over react when they are punished. and Aragorn is a Great administrator. seeing him leave is depressing. Please Come Back!

I have know you for way over a year now, you are a great friend, and i have much respect for you and i have always looked up to you. To me, you have always been some one that i could go to if i had a problem with the game. I remember all the shit you got when you guys first opened MTA, i remember if any one did something wrong they got a tempban which i found out when i yelled "Fuck you (some dmer)", i knew i did something wrong so i waited it out, worst hour of my life, it was boring with out Argonath, with out you.

Remember when i first became an admin over a year ago? i reigned because i couldn't take the shit i was getting from it, but it was you that made me change my mind and i came back and look where i am today. Argonath will not be the same with out you, i always loved the time when we role played together. we are a great team and i hope that we will be still able to be a team.

Ron, i know things seem shit, and i know if i did ever have a problem with you i would and i will tell you what it is, i just hope you see that if you do leave you will be missed, if Argonath goes i will most likely leave SA:MP for good as i dont see a point of playing in other servers, as it was YOU Ron that got me staying here and it will be you that makes me decided when i leave. and im not going to let you just piss off a good person, so i come to you with this... stay please ron, i have know you for so long now and i dont want our friendship to end like this.

Allright well time for me to put my thoughts, some admins already know this.

This morning I was about to do the same as Aragorn and call it a day. Sauron had also had it.
That is why I asked some players to start an action if they care. And I have seen that you do care.

RON has always been the guy who is most outspoken in public. I am more gentle in my approach. However I have always looked over his shoulder and he has in many cases asked me if he was wrong to act. All I could do mostly was to tell he was right. Yeah his actions and words are strong, but that is what they have to be.

There is a saying which tells that it is lonely at the top. This certainly goes for RON. He always brings new ideas, new initiatives. People enjoy it, but also drop it quickly...then if we want to continue only one guy can pick up and tell the guys to keep working. That guy is Aragorn.
As he is tired to always having to run after people, we will need more support from the team. We will tell about it soon.

I know where you are coming from (6 year mod for another game, and I ran it for over half its life, ups and down where frequent).

Take your time to reassess your postion, take a bit of a brek too, we all need it, and now you know you have friends out there, be willing to let them help, believe me thats hard to ask for but it is rewarding in the end.

Glad to see that your are already looking forward, things may change but the core of what makes Argonath it seems will stay with us for a while yet.

Good - the only guy I wanted to answer my concern - I'd rather find this to be true then what I believe. No, I'm pretty sure I have no idea, but like everyone else, I form opinions. Next time think a little more before you post.
