Info

Lately, a bunch of new players, get to join our server. Unluckily, many of them are rulebreakers and don't know well the server rules. Regular players keep complaining about DMing from new players mostly. Project: ARES has been set, to lower the number of new player rulebreakers. Instead, of helping randomly new players, ACA has decided, with the help of volunteers, helping, spesificly new players. Regular Players will use the form, below to report the new player, they have seen rulebreaking. After you give us the information needed, one of the members of Project: ARES will help personally that new player rulebreaker, learning him the rules and behaving normally.

So basically it's a wanna-be mod group...?

How does this differ from being a staff member?

Firstly, sorry for doing something good for the community.
Secondly, staff members, don't have the time, to personally spend time on doing what we are doing in the extend we do.

You can now report ,with the way it describes in the first post, a new player which you saw rulebreaking, so we can stop hime from rulebreaking.

Volunteers Still Wanted / Reports are Open!

We have much more time to invest on each new player... Unlike any mod+ the server has. Glad I was able to answer that fast!  :jackson:

Although I do see your positive intention and meaning, I feel like this is totally unnecessary for three main reasons.

1. We got our new moderators for a reason.
2. It is everybody's duty to help out one who does not know the rules and accidentally breaks a rule.
3. If the rulebreaker knows the rules and despite that breaks the rules, /report is there. No need to come all the way to the forum to report a player...

1. Kostas already answered that.
2. None is forced to help someone and it's not none's duty. If someone will help it's because they want to. And people in this project want to.
3.
2. It is everybody's duty to help out one who does not know the rules and accidentally breaks a rule.
If that you said, really happend, there would be no reason for /report to exist, and everyone would just help the one they saw rulebreaking.

Edit(Ignore what i said above):

I misunderstanded what you said and answered wrong.

Let's answer in a text. Even with like 10 mods selected, there are 2+ online than they used to be. Doesn't mean because 10 joined, we will have 10 mods constatly active. Secondly, Moderators are to keep the calmness in the server not to be interrupted from any rulebreak. Although, they don't have the time to personally spend, on any new player they see that needs help. But, we have the time to offer it.

Being in the community, none is forcing you helping those who don't know the rules, and believe me very rarely i see people doing it. But, this project, just spends time on each, new player is report it. If it's your duty to help new players which don't know the rules and break them, the best thing you can do is, help them or report them here

Of course, I have already mentioned, can't remember where, that we won't spend time on regular players which rulebreak. Because regular players know the rules for sure. And if they don't know them, it's their problem, because they should. That's because we are 'targeting' new players. Because new players, possibly, don't have much of an idea, what are the rules like.

That, in my eyes, still doesn't justify a complete group with a complete topic, applications and yet more rules.

If you want to help new players, fine. Just go in-game and help them. Why would you need a topic and a "group"?

Because they want to. Everyone is free to do as they wish. Enough on why they made a group.

I really like the idea because new players can sometimes be a little annoying. Having a group of dedicated people will definitely help out the moderation team. Also, I think its great that we create a 'group' for this because it might inspire more people to join.
