Title: Cant get into Off Topic section O.o
Post by: Shifter on December 21, 2007, 04:12:21 am: Yeah Iv been trying for a few hours but for some reason every time i try to enter the off topic section on these forums i get the following error message. Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 71565312) (tried to allocate 16 bytes) in /home/.bisou/shadow_jag/argonathrpg.com/forum/Sources/MessageIndex.php on line 592

I don't think it's the web hosting, just a simple problem with the forum. (Probably)

Actually, that's a PHP error. PHP = server-side = web hosting.

Don't talk about something you don't know about.

Problem is fixed.

Regarding the web hosting, you can call it shit if you want. They offer a very high amount for a low price, but that means it comes at some expense.
The biggest problem is that the SQL server and the data are not the same, but on different physical machines. This causes a lag in data if there is a high request. Due to this lag, the requests can time out, and occasionally it leads to data inconsistency that blocked the off-topic forum.
Our solution, to move to a different server where the databace and site are on the same server is already in testing.
