Post by: Bruce. on April 13, 2015, 12:07:58 pm
Okay so I've had this weird problem for weeks now. This thing happens only while I am in Argonath main forum. Time by time I keep getting this weird websites open that tell me to download and update shit....idk wtf is going on....I tried using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware but it still didn't worked out. I also cleared all my Chrome extensions and cleared my whole browers history and other shit.....This is what I get....

Anyone knows how to get rid of this because it's really annoying.

It happens in every page. You can't disable every extension you got (( always one is left )), and when you re-open your browser they are still there.

Remove all extensions and delete all cookies, or just reinstall the browser.

If that doesn't help download CCleaner and scan for malware. Delete everything in that "browsing" checkbox or whatever it's called

Yeah, remove all extensions that shouldn't be there. I highly recommend using malwarebytes. It scans your computer for anything that shouldn't be there. Post back if you solved it!

He can't remove all his extensions. They will be re-enabled when starting the browser up.

Ah yea, I'm 90% sure its one of those browser hijack viruses. Let him do a scan with that program I recommended. It wil most likely bring something up.

My reading skills are quite bad I see. After a short search on Google I saw this Google removal/check tool. Might worth a try. It says it resets and removes anything harmful that interferes with Chrome.
