Did you download the "d3dx9_43.dll" file and put it in "C:\Windows\System32\" ?

Find on the internet program called Dependency Walker. Once you install it, open GTAIV.exe with it.. and scroll down to see what files are colored red. Delete the files you are having problems with.. and re-install DirectX
That worked once for me
btw if you have 64Bit Win, you can try putting that file in both system folders, System32 and SysWOW64

Hy yea that worked bro! thanks, btw now I have another problem -.- when I start GTA IV it just shows that Command propt for a second, then it closes and the game does not run. Anyone know`s whats wrong with this?

Just reinstall your IVMP. It worked for me when I had login problems. You know, many games after the Economic crisis in 2007 have developed a file called safefile or gamesafe or something like that. This file keeps your game progress intact, even if you uninstall the game. Just do not delete that file, or you will start from zero. :rage: It is usually located in C.

Reinstalled the game multiple times already nothing fixed.

Ok, just never give up. There is a solution in everything.

Did you try it out with Dependency Walker? Those files might be corrupted and you maybe need a new, clean.. installation of the freshest DirectX version that is supported by your GPU

Did you solve?

Please consider that your PC probably has been infected by viruses or something, you can scan your PC with good AV and see if you found something. Some .EXE file extensions could be infected and can not run program properly.

Hm yea, so when ever it say DX..... is missing, I download that file on .DLL Files webpage, then I copy/pasted it into "System32" and "SysWOW64" folder. Started IVMP again and it worked. About the command propt problem, I didnt fix it my friend did it, and I wasnt here at the time he fixed it. So I dont know what to do about that. But I suggest reinstalling GTA IV, or contacting Steam Support.
