Online Petition Launched To Get Ainsley Harriott On The £20 Note

Ainsley Harriott, the celebrity chef who changed the face of British television, is being touted as a potential replacement for Adam Smith on the UK’s £20 note. One fan of the legendary figure’s work on ‘Ready Steady Cook’ has set up an online petition calling for the ageless TV presenter to adorn legal tender.

The petition’s straightforward mission statement says:

Ainsley Harriot is an oily god, it is only right he gets his glory on the £20 note.
