Christopher Lee, the British actor known for his many film roles including Count Dracula in numerous movies and Saruman the White in The Lord of the Rings, has died at the age of 93 reports The Telegraph. Lee reportedly died at at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital at 08:30AM local time on Sunday after being admitted three weeks before with respiratory problems.

I first saw him as the three nippled Scaramanga in what was, at the time, my favourite Bond film - The man with the Golden Gun.

Despite being in his 90s, Lee continued taking major movie roles in blockbusters such as Lord of the Rings

And despite his elder statesman image, his musical expertise and taste were... unconventional

But don't forget, decades ago, this man was a stone-cold killer. Fighting with Finnish forces, with the RAF, and later as one of the founding members of the Special Operations Executive and the SAS.
