Title: [Fixed] GTA IV Fatal Error

Good Afternoon.

today i installed a new windows.

and after installing all drivers and runing the game ( IV:MP )
this error appear  ( gta iv requires a sound card in order to run )  :rage:

although i installed its driver its not working :(

You need windows media player. I had this problem too when I installed windows 8.1 N version (without the media player).

i have windows media player

and the windows is | windows 7 ultimate.

oops, I misread your first post. I don't have a solution for you the at this moment. Will let you know when I think of something.

aha thank you.

btw i installed a ( fake ) sound program which could enable me to enter the game.
but there is no sound . because its ( fake ). so i hope if someone found a fix to tell me. to remove this and enable sound.

Pick a Driver from here (http://download.cnet.com/windows/audio-drivers/) as It stratify to Your Systeme
If This is donsen't help , Launch your Windows Update and search for updates, see what Updates available for installing !

Thanks for everyone helped me :D

and finaly i found the fix ;) . and here its for anyone who faces this problem

just go to  Control panel > Hardeware and sound > Realtek HD Audio Manager
and this screen will appear to you .

Choose ( Front Speaker out ) then click ( ok )
