Hello, Argonath RPG. I would like a new implementation in the server's scripts. I would like a /area command for the lost players. I mean, when you want to find a friend, you could use /area instead of pausing the game and looking on the map. But, I would like such a command for the nearest state car, and, for firemen, nearest FT (fire truck, also known as fire engine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_engine), for the ones who don't know what "FT" means) left on the street (if there is any), but, at cops looking for a vehicle happens more often, I mean, for every career, there should be a car area command. I hope it will be implemented. It is not the same as the tracker command. Well, it is quite the same, but, not to owned cars. And, it would help new players know the streets faster. :gand: :gand: :gand: :gand: :cop: :cop: :cop: :cop: :cop: :cop: :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock: :cowboy: :cowboy: :cowboy: :cowboy: :cowboy: :D :D :D :D ;)

I don't think this is really needed.
/area for players is not needed at all, because the players are visible in the map. If you do /area, it would write you his current location. And you'll probably go to ESC to find him because most of the the locations are not known.
/area ( aka /tracker ) for non-owned vehicles is not needed either. It won't help in improving roleplay in the server, it would probably ruin it.
Unsupported.

You can check your location using CTRL+T , it will display at bottom right corner.

very hard to script. (not sure if it is even possible on this client)..

Supported. The dots on the map should be removed. Why? many cops hunt down the orange dots doesn't matter if they're in the middle of something (RP etc..) and also suspects use them to know if they should move or stay in their area (by checking if there are cops nearby). Also some suspects use the passenger bug to avoid cops so this will solve the problem. @Danny Soulson it is possible in this client and shouldn't be that hard, though I'm not a scripter but I do understand a bit of it "if coordinates X=no. Y=no. Z=no. then area=(name of place)"

Thank you for supporting it. By the way, Danny didn't say it was impossible, he said that it would be a bit hard to implement this.

this is /area of IVMP ^^ ctrl+T shows you the zone and the street you are in, what more would you wish.

Well, I can't say you are not right, but, what about the passenger bugs?

As DE_Pants said, there are guys who are having a passenger bug... Do you expect the suspect with the bug to tell you through /PM who drives him? Well, he might, but, maybe he knows that he would escape before LCPD Officers reach him. And I think a /area command wouldn't be that hard to create.

As soon as a player is sighted he no longer makes passager bugs as long as you stay near him, well as long as anyone stays near, there wont be no passager bugs.

Unsupported. By the way, it's not really that hard for cops to locate suspects, even if the suspect's passenger bug appears on map. Most of the time cops are able to easily figure out who is driving the suspect.
