ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army on Wednesday said it had shot down an alleged Indian ‘spy drone’ after it intruded Pakistani territory near Bhimber along the Line of Control.

“The spy drone is used for aerial photography,” said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a brief statement.

The incident comes just days after ice breaking meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in Russia.

In a joint statement issued after the talks, the two countries decided to arrange meetings of senior military officials to lower tensions along the LoC, a de facto border that divides Jammu and Kashmir.

It is not clear whether the latest incident will have any impact on the proposed interaction between the two militaries.

However, the picture of the downed drone provided by ISPR showed that it was of a commercial, variety. Industry experts said the small, unarmed model was openly sold for aerial filming and would contain no secret military technology.

A photo supplied by the Pakistani military appeared to show a Chinese-made DJI Phantom 3, said Huw Williams, the Unmanned Systems Editor at IHS Jane’s International Defence Review.

Looks like they're getting desperate :D I can only imagine the pain of the poor rich kid still trying to figure out what happened

If you know that this is extremely sensitive area security wise and with the past Indo-Pak conflicts, no one can afford this, anything suspicious they see, would react toward it instantly, with no talk involve.
If you talk about the innocence of Indian Army, then we all know how much they are, attacking from you caves at our border, day night isn't a good thing at all, So please refrain from posting such topic when we all know how clean the opposition is.

You've been posting a couple of posts related to Pak-India lately that I did not want to respond because it would start a useless argument not related to news at all just like your previous reply where you started talking about the past.

All this topic really shows is how India has been again and again performing ceasefire violations and blamed it on Pakistani Army instead.

Here's a fun fact
Every time a terrorist attack took place in India, there was a ceasefire violation a while back, other than the 26/11 bombings where the terrorists were literally traced to be coming from Pakistan.
Another fun fact. India has invested several billion dollars in erecting floodlights all across the Indo-Pak border, to keep away intruders. If India was the one trying to distract Pak and intrude, we wouldn't be the ones doing that now would we?
Ceasefire violations are always extremely bad news for India. Always great news for Pakistan. Pakistan has very good motive to do so, India has none. Yes, Indians are the ones randomly shooting across the borders.

More than half of the Pakistani army command is due to stand trial for War crimes against the millions of bangladeshis that were slaughtered during the 1971 genocide. Pardon me if i don't trust their word.

So you want to say that these r the pakistanis who are making terrorism in India ? Please mate India's president said that we will break the Pakistan like we did with Bangladesh.
