For those of you who don't know what Hand of Law was, it was an upcoming game project from the Argonath team.
I have been following it regularly since it was announced back around 2008, but then all the new stopped.
It was a really awesome concept, and thought it would be an awesome game.
I'm curious, what ever happened to it?
Here is the old site for anyone who is interested:http://www.handoflaw.com

Shut down and/or abandoned like every other project on Argonath

Lack of developers I believe.
-
I think it's still on a low fire but there's not enough man power to actively work on it.

This.
In addition to developers, there is a need for graphics artists, animators, and a whole host of other graphic related roles and such. These positions do not typically come cheap.

It was a very cool concept, but a mammoth task I guess. :)

Should Kickstart it

Haha.
People might actually be up for that. :P

... I would.

What even was the concept? The site is just nothing.

The initial project dies off because most of the people who wanted to start it could not dedicate the time to do so.
However the project is not yet to be considered dead, some things are prepared to be launched.
What it is ? Think of SA:MP without the need for a base game, but with a lot of innovative possibilities.
So far none of the online games has managed to get even close to what the ideas are, and while when it was conceived the technology was probably out of reach, the current state will support it.
