Title: GTA SA won't launch !

I had the game installed from the same instalation and it was working fine. Yesterday i reinstalled windows and i installed the game again from the same installation and now i am getting this error. It's not working for SP and MP. Any ideas?

Oi i had this problem, i fixed it

All you have to do is right click on gtasa.exe then click on properties and go to Compatililty and go to Compatililty mode
then enable Run This program in Compatililty for:
"Windows 98 / Windows me"

After you've done that go down to Privlige level
and enable run this program as adminstraitor

and thats basically it.

I just installed new clean gta and samp and wont start...

Dont think so.

Move your GTA San Andreas folder over to the desktop and rename it to something else. Then go to the SA:MP "tools" tab and relocate the GTA folder to the one on your desktop.

Reinstall a clean game and SAMP into that folder.
Make sure the folder is not in the same directory as any past SAMP installations.

I don't think if that has anything to do with your game but Windows Update already keeps your drivers up-to-date automatically, just enable it.

If your windows update has been disabled for a while now then be prepared for the update to take a few hours. That's because your PC will download every update that your computer was missing since the time windows update was turned off.

I updated the windows yesterday took me around 4Hrs to do it lol.

I was not at home i will try the suggestion about reinstalling everything in different folder now.

That happens when you have got samp open while you are deleting the folder. Even after you close SAMP there are some files that are still running and those files you mentioned are a part of that.

I'm really sorry, I don't have any other suggestions in mind. If I find anything else I'll let you know

Yes it is Windows 7 Ultimate. I am from Macedonia bro everything is illegal here :lol:. It's not original windows nor GTA.

It's actually because windows usually considers them "fonts" and keeps them open.

Restart your PC and dont open anything related to gta, delete the folder directly. :)

Go to properties, compatibility, and update the run to, to any newest windows you have there, Could be XP server pack 3 or Windows 7.

If not ! Download a new crack and replace it in the folder of Gta, Also get the latest DirectX.

One more strange thing i noticed is when i go to resolution in properties on desktop it says that i am runing the lap top on some Standard VGA Adapter, but the lap top has the AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 6310 Graphics so that is also kinda weird. ( i have the windows updated )
