Hey guys,
The server today appears to me as offline, while others can play on the servers. It just says on the name "Waiting for server info".
So far I tried running as administrator, removing and re-adding the server to the favorites list and re-installing. Nothing worked.
Any solutions?
P.S: Tried adding the browser to the firewall, and it still didn't work. =/

Are you sure you added the right IP? Also check the Official tab in your browser, since Argonath is a Official server.

Checked the official list, and the server appears as down there..

Something on your end is the problem then, probably firewall or something else that is software related.
-
Already tried the firewall thing, and it didn't work either. Could it be that somehow my IP got blocked from the server or something like that?
EDIT: I was able to connect earlier and played, but now when I want to try again, it again appears as down to me..

You could try pinging 178.62.228.75 and see what happens. Nobody is IP blocked on the server at the moment.

Says that I already have the server. For now the server is working as of this time. But I will try this again if the server will again be down for me =/

didnt feel the need to Create anothe topic - Does anyone get a problem when trying to log in the server with this Text "failed to rename new installation"

Your VCMP directory might have a folder with a weird name. Rename it to 04rel003 (The latest version)
If you have a folder already with the name 04rel003 or _04rel003, delete it.

this is what i get : http://i.imgur.com/WXsnJCp.png http://i.imgur.com/Sq7ENvo.png

Try these steps:
- Delete the folder 55bb6cd40000823
- Rename the folder 55bbd6d2d00006784 to 04rel003
- Exit VCMP Browser and launch again as an administrator.
If that doesnt work, un-install VCMP.
- Delete all files you have for VCMP. This includes the files located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\VCMP\04beta
- Re-install VCMP. Make sure you run the setup as an administrator and install the browser in the default directory.
- Run the VCMP Browser as an administrator.

Tried your steps, and they didn't work. Still the same.
EDIT: I don't get this. One time I randomly check it shows the server, the other time I check it's down...

The steps were meant for Andyoo :X
Yours is an intermittent connection issue Zerox. I'm not sure what troubleshooting can be done.
Probably, a router/modem restart would help whenever you face the issue.
-
I will try that later on. Thanks. By the way, I didn't have these issues back in the 0.3 client, just for the record.
-
Very strange problem Zerox, I hope you can fix it.
-
New problem.. GTA.vc.exe has stopped working.. everytime i try connect to the server

Your gta-vc.exe might be corrupted.
-
Only in multiplayer or also in singleplayer?
-
Andeey's issue is most likely resolved since I saw him ingame yesterday.
-
Yeah aXXo, restarting the router did not work.. maybe I should post a thread on the VCMP official forums?
